Its when you are not expecting much, you are taken by surprise. The Plain Slice at Pizza Cucina took me by surprise. The perfect blend of cheese, sauce, and crust with every bite. The crust is fantastic. So good..For a place that has not been open long, they are a clear underdog that is going to make some noise on the Pizza Hunters App for Morris County, NJ. The people we really nice and provided great customer service. Great Slice of Pizza here. Looking forward to next visit.

We have been big fans for years. We have firmly believed that they make the best pizza in town, but yesterday’s was not great. The sauce has changed and not for the better. I don’t know if it was a bad batch or they changed the recipe but it was terrible. The dough was also different, not as crispy and the flavor was almost yeasty. Idk if there’s a new chef but something was off.

We always get a chicken cutlet for my 5 year old. I like the sauteed broccoli, fried shrimp appetizer, grilled shrimp with broccoli rabe, garlic knots. And zeppolles for dessert. Pretty much anything is good here.

Just moved into the area and I’ve been searching for the best pizza place. So far, this is the best comparing to several places in the area. Tastes fresh clean, and I appreciate the thin crust so there is no guilt after eating 2 pieces.

First time here, ordered two plain slices, pizza was okay. The cheese flavor was overwhelming, almost no sauce, crispy bottom. An ok slice of pizza but not great. I also noticed after pies on display were finished the empty spots were being filled in with pizza that was NOT fresh, looks like the replacement pies were made in the morning, or refrigerated. That kind of irked me as well, you should have fresh pies on display, not pies that were made 6 hours ago. Besides that, I couldn’t really tell who worked here. There was 3 young men either sitting or walking around the dining room area of the pizzeria. One nodded at me, but didnt welcome me. So I just headed to the register until someone wrapped around it to help me. Service was super fast, but no smiling or interaction with the counter help.
