We are in town for Horizon and decided to look for pizza. There are a lot of options, but on reviews we decided to try Pizza Depot. Driving a big truck we parked across the street as the spots in front are rather shallow. We were greeted immediately and given a few minutes to review the menu. The seating area is large with around 20 tables, the service was good and food arrived quickly. Pepperoni toppings were spaced more than we prefer, but had okay flavor. Pizza bread was full of toppings and you could really enjoy the blend of flavors.

We ordered 15 pizzas carryout tonight for a large gathering. Jeni and Judd accommodated us without any issues and our gathering was a success! Job well done and best of all… the pizza tasted great!! Thanks Pizza Depot! 🙂

Don’t know if they were having an off night but the pizza and service were awful 03/31 evening. Based on the other reviews, I was shocked. Took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and take our drink order once we were seated – no, they were not busy. As for the food, just not good. We all got the buffet. The food on the salad bar did not look appetizing so we bypassed that. The pizza on the buffet – there was very little selection when we got there and it was not replenished, except for an employee brought out 2 breadsticks l, during the 45 minutes we were there. And the food that was on the buffet was burnt on the bottom and lukewarm or cold. We were looking forward to trying the Pizza Depot for a while. The bill was over $50 for 3 people. I don’t mind spending that much if we get good service and food but last night was not it. This was our first and last visit.

For being the only pizza place in town you would think that they might let their quality slip but that’s not true. Pizza Depot remains a hidden gem in Elkhart county. They serve Crystal springs creamery milk in multiple varieties as well as homemade baked goods for a reasonable price of $1. Accompanying the traditional pizzas of pepperoni and cheese you can also get chicken bacon ranch or a town favorite…. The cheeseburger pizza.
