Really enjoyed our experience at Pizza Domenica. We choose this restaurant because they had a Restaurant Week menu that included vegetarian options. We didn’t realize the first location we chose was take-out only so we eventually made our way over to this lovely corner of the city. Everything was super tasty including a very hardy pasta salad and mushroom toasts (that were made veggie by holding the lardo). We had the mushroom pizza which was great. We tried both the cookie and the cinnamon knots and the cookie was definitely our favorite – warm, gooey, chocolate-y. We didn’t have any service issues to speak of, though our apps and our pizza did come come out within a minute of each other which wasn’t ideal. Luckily we were hungry enough and the food was tasty enough that we made short work of all of it.

Five of us (myself, my wife and three teen to adult children) went here late one Sunday evening on a recommendation. We started with the bread knots and whipped cheese. The knots were a doughy disappointment, to be honest, but the whipped cheese was a revelation – *if* you like garlic, which we all do – it was light in texture but amazingly (and strongly) flavored. I can still taste it now, an hour later!

Decent atmosphere and food, but this place is way overpriced; $60 for an order of garlic knots and two ultra-thin 12″ pizzas is crazy, not to mention charging $8 for local beers like Paradise Park.

We ordered the roasted cauliflower, and it was undercooked on the inside and darker on one side of it than the other on the top layer. We ordered a pizza with no red sauce, which normally comes out as a drier pizza, which is what we like. The pizza came out soggy on the bottom and very hard for us to eat. The food was extremely disappointing, as i have always heard good things about this place. The server was very nice, so no complaints about him. The staff other than our server was not very friendly. This is unfortunately is not a place that we plan on returning to.

I feel like this location made the best garlic knots. Dough wasn’t dense and the cheese was light and airy. Happy hour pizzas are always a win. Sad they no longer make the clam pizza.

I arrived just after they opened. There is a dedicated parking lot with an entrance on Harrison. I was seated promptly. Was given a bit too much time to get to order. Once the pizza was brought out, the young man asked if I had ordered my pizza with no alterations or with alterations. I ordered with no alterations. He goes and discusses something with his coworkers, brings a different pizza and takes away the original pizza. Very weird. Surely there must be some system of telling which pizza belongs to whom. I am sitting here waiting for a box for my leftovers for a hot minute watching new customers come in, talk and wait for whatever it is they are desiring. There is no sense of urgency at all with the pace of the employees or customers.

Revised review: Not our first visit, actually frequent it regularly. Tonight our service was horrible. The waitress came to our table to take the drink order, returned with drinks and wanted to take our order but we were not ready. They she never came back… After trying to get her attention several times, my spouse actually called out to her. After that, we were on our own! We needed fresh plates… we went and got them, needed fresh drinks… we went and got them. Had to ask what appeared to be the manager for our check… if he was the manager he needs training on how to deal with issues. As for the food, it was ok tonight: salad not enough dressing, appetizer came out after salads and was under cooked and pizza crust was basically the outer half the pizza.

I love Pizza Domenica, but not this location. We got the meatballs and baked ziti apps and it was fantastic. Pizza was fantastic as well but the service was AWFUL. Considering the restaurant had less than 5 tables when we arrived, you would think service would be great. Our server had the personality of a rock and only came to our table about every 15-20 minutes. While she wasn’t at our table, she was sitting with other waitstaff by the door playing on their phones. Since the food was so great I will be back but hopefully they can get a manager who will get that wait staff in order.
