We ordered the Gyro pizza. For a pizza with so many ingredients it was very bland. Meat taste precooked and not fresh. Probably wouldn’t waste my time to come back. Definitely better pizza options out there

Having lived in the Western United States, I am a long time fan of brick oven pizza. It’s been tough to find it in Eastern North Carolina until the last couple of years. Pizza Forno has been popular for a couple of reasons. The staff is friendly, efficient, and with 30 different toppings you can individually select, there’s something for everyone. For just under $11, you can get any of their pizzas. They are meant to be individual, but are about 12″, so they can be shared if you don’t have a big appetite. We stopped in around 5:30 on Friday night and it was jammin. Orders were being made as fast as the 5 employees could crank them out. Many people were ordering 4-6 pizzas plus other items on the menu. We waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes. As the rush died down, it was about half that. One thing about brick oven is that they cook much faster than a regular pizza oven. They have bottled soda, juice and beer, as well as a drink dispenser and several beers on tap. We were very pleased with our experience here.

I got a Philly cheese steak here with my family & it was possibly the best Philly I’ve ever had. It was SO good. I’ll definitely be going back for just that. My 2 year old had a kids pizza & she devoured it so I assume it was good. I’ve never seen her eat pizza like that. Place was stylish, clean, & the service was outstanding. Will be returning!

Stopped in here for the first time today and my expectations were blown. Totally understood that it was oven fired pizza, but didn’t know it was a create your own personal pizza (think Chipotle). This was amazing. 3 sauce choices, tons of meat and cheese choices, and plenty of vegetables at one price.

Great pizza joint! They’re easy to get to in their location, fast (even their online order is always on time) and their ingredients are very fresh! We have tried quite a few of their specialty pizzas and have not been disappointed. Crust is crunchy and it isnt grease laden like other joints around here. They also offer salads, desserts (like their apple pie pizza) and a BYO pizza option. Would recommend!
