The pizza we received from the merrillville store was supposed to be presented curbside. After waiting 10 minutes past the delivery time and going in the store I was told they don’t do curbside. The only reason they got an extra star is because they actually acknowledged me when I came in.

I placed a pickup order for 7:00 on the website. Someone from this location called me and said that they close at 7, the doors will be locked, they will not give me my pizza at 7, and that I will have to come earlier. I let her know that I will be there at 6:55 because this is the earliest I can be there, and she said “You can try” and hung up the phone on me. A few minutes later I called back to the store, and let her know that I can be there by 6:45 to get my order, 15 minutes before they close. She said that she had already canceled my order, without informing me, started to berate me on the phone, and then hung up when I asked for her name. I called back the location and someone else answered and said that the employee’s name was Chyna. I used Hut Rewards on this order for a free breadstick, but I am unable to get those returned and call a different location tonight. Overall one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any restaurant. I will never support this location again.

This place is a hit or a hard miss. It’s definitely time for a remodel, but it seems like the franchisor is a slum lord. They close early without notice and at times, will not answer the phone. Nonetheless, the food is always hot and fresh.

To the guy that work night shift on Sunday12/6 i place an online order and one of my items was replace for a pizza. Thank you. The pizza’s the pasta was amazing but you or whoever on that night shift prepared my spicy garlic boneless, thanks for not being cheap with the sauce. I loved them. But most of all I loved the fact the you turn a bad situation with my food into a good one, by replacing it with something else. Thats what you call good service.

Very very poor service! Highly do NOT recommend this Pizza Hut, ordered my online order at 5:15. It was wrong order when it got delivered took them 2 hours 40 mins for a replacement. Still was nasty and raw I got the order at 9:30 called manager and they don’t answer me anymore. Very very bad service!

I called the store after placing my order for my business because I noticed that my business name wasn’t on the receipt and wanted to make sure the delivery driver could find us easily. When the phone was answered, I didn’t receive a “Hello” or “Thanks for calling” but instead the employee was yelling about how she was the only one working and that I needed to place my order online. When I confirmed that I had and I just wanted to clarify my place of business, she insisted that she couldn’t change anything and continued to be rude even though I wasn’t trying to change anything on my order. I ended the call and she immediately called me back. I handed the phone to my manager to answer. The employee continued to yell and be rude to my manager and then proceeded to hang up on my manager when my manager tried to explain why I had even called to begin with. She then hung up on my manager twice more when we called to just cancel the order. We heard other employees talking to her about orders so she was not alone. My manager and I were the only ones running our business so I understand how frustrating it can be to be alone however you never yell or be rude to your customers. I have never been treated so poorly and our business will not be ordering Pizza Hut again anytime in the future.
