Holy vegan pizza!!! Thin crust and pan pizzas with nine different vegan fresh pizza options, plus a daily vegan slice option for $4.50. We started with a Margherita slice that had 2 different cheeses and was delicious. We ordered the Vegan Super Pie pan pizza (12″) and it was indeed super! Cooked to perfection, balanced spread of toppings, including vegan pepperoni, soy mince, sausage, cashew and vegan ricotta cheeses. Superb, barely finished it between two people. Open all day, also has Jones soda fountain soda.

I lived in NYC for 35yrs -born/raised- and by far this is the closest to a Brooklyn slice than any other spot I’ve tried in or around PDX!

A solid place to get some great tasting pizzas. This location took over the old Pizzacato that is located near the PSU campus. We were able to get some good pizzas for a team lunch. My standout ones include the Meatball Parmesan (a special), It’s Always Sunny in Cully, Meatzza, and the Super. The pepperoni is solid and the Lovely Linda is a great vegetarian option.

My go to lunch spot whenever I’m on campus. I feel like many of the staff here I’ve interacted with have went out of their way to be helpful and treated me with kindness and respect , and if there ever was an issue I’ve felt comfortable enough to share this with them and they were always professional. The atmosphere when I’ve visited a handful of times has been upbeat and welcoming even on days they are busier than usual. I definitely recommend this place for a quick slice or a yummy salad. They also have vegan pizza options too!!

EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 4 stars because pizza jerk gave me a refund due to the lack of quality of these two pizzas. I will definitely try Pizza Jerk again, just maybe not this location. Always had luck with the east side locations!

Their service was most accomodating… my friend asked for gluten free, dairy free, soy free, yeast free pizza and they produced a decent version of a classic pizza…I had the veggie slice of the day…a lovely crisp crust with just enough cheese and veggies to make a single slice a meal…they did get them so quick to the table that they were sent back into the ovens to complete their heat cycle! I think they were being cautious about serving scalding hot cheese ( ;

Super friendly staff here, especially Andrea and Erin – they started to recognize me just a couple days into my first term at PSU and even asked what kind of beer I liked so they could try to get more on tap.

A friend and I went here yesterday for lunch. Pizza was pretty decent. I ordered a slice of the vegan daily pizza. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction and had no idea why. I went back to read the “slices” menu, didn’t see anything that would cause a reaction. I had even gone up to the workers and asked about the ingredients in the vegan pizza. They asked “as in what?” They said that it has “a lot of oil” and “soy” should be “allergen-free” I left the restaurant, dealing with an itchy throat and lips. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care. When I got home, I went back to read the menu again and I saw that on the big menu, it listed that the vegan cheese is cashew ricotta. In the restaurant, I completely missed the big menu because the towers of pizza blocked it and I just focused on the “slices” menu that was taped to the glass. A suggestion for the restaurant should just to be better at labeling or move your stack of pizza or invest in a food menu placed on a monitor mounted high up. Sad to say, my experience was not good with the workers but the pizza I had was good until I physically couldn’t take anymore.

This is my go to spot for pizza downtown. Very good slices, lots of variation with different daily slices every day. You can’t beat the price for the lunch special (2 slices and a soda). The staff is great, always friendly and nice!

I came to Pizza Jerk today with my parents at 6.10 pm. We ordered one pizza to go and we began to wait. 35 min later, I saw the staff eating some slices of pizza and I was still waiting my order. I decided to ask to one person of the staff about my order and he replied “ we always take 30 min to cook a pizza, that’s how it goes”. The people before me got their orders after 10 minutes… in the end, I waited 40 minutes for a pizza that was burnt… 33$ for 12” for that service.. for real? Disappointed.
