Very oudated but it’s Pizza King and I am here for the food. First table in and ordered with one other couple in the dining room who is already eating. 10 minutes later 4 other small parties arrive. They all got their drinks before us, they all got their breadsticks before us. Then others were served their pizza before us too. Ya’ll our order was small and simple. No apologies no compensation, not even an acknowledgment that this was not right. I am a former restaurant worker and I don’t usually complain and always give the opportunity to correct things. Mistakes happen. But seriously! Incompetence is the overall review. I will say the food tasted fine and no complaints there.

I’ve overlooked a lot of things coming to this Pizza King because the pizza is typically good. However, today was the last straw. Staff was very unprofessional. Not friendly and wanted to talk about things outside of work rather than worrying about guests standing in the lobby. My pizza sat on the shelf for 15 minutes because the staff didn’t care to follow up with the guests in the lobby waiting.

My first visit to Pizza King was great. The pizza was the best I’ve had in Indiana. The sauce was just right, neither too tart nor too sweet. The sausage was particularly tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

We call in our dine in order because it takes so long to dine in the original way, we learned that over the years. Our server Sat us at a dirty table and proceeded to serve us drinks, I asked her to pls wipe the table. She never came back the cook delivered both our appetizer and pizza at the same time??? Sever still didn’t come back and check on us, husband had to get up and get his own refill from counter. Our server was busy helping other table get 8 glasses of ice for ppl who brought their own drinks from their car into the store ( didn’t know we could do that) Had to ask for box, so I could take my pizza home…. very disappointed in service.

The food is always good, and usually, the place is clean, but this last visit most of the tables were dirty with dishes setting on them. We were one of 3 tables in there, so they weren’t busy. No one came out to clean the dining room the whole time we were there, and there were 7 people in the kitchen when we left.

I live out of state so I only get Pizza King when I’m home for a visit with family. It’s always a highlight for me as I love their pizza. Unfortunately where I now live we only have chains and it doesn’t even compare. Luckily I’ll be home for Christmas and get to visit again.
