After frequenting the Pizza Kings in Avon and Muncie, my mom and I couldn’t wait to try this location when we saw that it had opened! Even though the dining area is fairly modest at the moment (only 5 or so tables), they’re making the most of the space they have, and all while being friendly and efficient.

The staff, the food, the service…all 5 star! Pizza King has been a lifelong favorite of mine, but these guys kick it up a notch! The menu is full of PK all-stars, but includes so much more…it’s definitely worth a visit, and a revisit, and another visit!

FANTASTIC! Nostalgic! Pizza King pizza, especially the pepperoni, is such a fond memory from my childhood and teenage years. We ordered a 10′ The Meats pizza and salad which was perfect for two. It was delicious and the pepperoni was just like I remembered. We also ordered a 4 piece broasted chicken dinner for the next day which proved to be, hands down, better than any chicken place in town. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries were the seasoned kind which we love. And the fried biscuits were a little sweet treat at the end. We picked up our dinner and the service was fast and beyond friendly. Don’t miss out if you haven’t been yet!!

I love Pizza King, so I decided to order pizza and breadsticks for my grandchildren. I ordered for delivery in advance and the sweet girl on that phone seemed very inexperienced with delivery orders. After almost 10 minutes on the phone she had trouble placing an order and she asked if she could call me back. (which she did) She needed my address and card information. She said that I would get a confirmation from Door Dash by 5:00 for a 5:30 delivery. I did not receive a confirmation and when I called them they said my food was finished but the driver had not picked up the order. When I hung up I received a confirmation that our food would arrive at 6:05. Unfortunately, they provided the Door Dash guy with the wrong address. When he finally arrived there was no cheese in the bag for the breadsticks and the pizza was cold. There was no manager on duty when I called to place the order or when I called to let them know that they forgot the cheese. I am frustrated and completely dumbfounded. I received an apology, but the guy said that a manager would have to make it right and he could not deliver the cheese. I honestly don’t know what they are doing, and training and supervision is badly needed. It was a complete waste of time and money.

This resturaunt deserves the support of everyone with in 15 miles, minimum. This is hands down the best Pizza King operating anywhere near Hendricks County. All the amazing classics are here, but the integrity to the OG recipe, and overall quality, is evident. In addition to the classics there are a variety of other location-specific dishes to order. The chicken wings were absolute fire. The crispy outside, tender-meaty inside, and flavor packed into every bite put this on the map with the best of the best. Once you realize they they are working as a scratch kitchen, making house made sauces and brining this chicken to perfection, it all shines through in the product. Overall, as a long time Avon Pizza King fan, I have to say, it will only be Midwest PK in plainfield from now on. The train may be at the Avon location, but the FOOD QUALITY, customer service, and options are at Midwest Pizza King. If you are an OG pizza King fan, get here asap. They have everything I used to love about the OG brand, but better. The only criticism any one could have is that they are currently working to resolve AC issues in building. However, they have a comfortable temporary fix. Hoping they are getting quick resolutions, as the minor inconvenience to dining in might hinder some people, but do yourself a favor and pick it up to go if you don’t like the AC issue. Bottom line, this family owned business deserves the support of the community and people who like great food
