The Wrangler

I had heard great things and wanted to try Pizza Luce out before we headed to a concert. Not a long walk from Embassy Suites downtown. My daughter and I had the gluten-free classic. Delicious. Next time I’m in town without her, I want to try the regular crust, but with her Celiac Disease, we needed to go that route. No cross-contamination issues. We also grabbed the gluten-free brownie and key lime pie custard to go. Loved them both. We didn’t make reservations. I looked online, but it was showing a minimum of 4 people for a reservation. Since there were only two of us, we showed up early to see if we could get a table. The left half was full of upcoming reservations, which put them in a bind, so I kindly asked if we could sit on the other side. The staff were super friendly and directed us over with a menu. We ordered at the counter and found a table. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience and for squeezing us in.

This place is a MUST! The pizza was amazing! My dad is Gluten free and this place had the most accommodations for him. His pasta and bread were the best he’s had at a restaurant ever. You will not be sorry eating here. If I could give it more than 5 starts I absolutely would.

So good BUT my pizza wasn’t cut all the way at the crust so IF a seagul would’ve came and tried to grab my pizza, he would’ve gotten IT ALL. Just needs more salt& pepper and oregano but so good & the delivery peoples are always great. Brownie was huge & so delicious. Love the big sauce cups!

We ordered two pizzas. One 16 inch with three toppings and another 10 inch with one topping. The total for the two pizzas, tips, and other charges summed to $48. We only received two of the three toppings on the 16 inch and we were sad because pineapple is our favorite. I called to speak to an associate and he said he could either send another one or give me a discount. I appreciated having options. We chose the discount since we were all hungry and wanted to eat. The pizzas themselves were OK, but both were barely warm. We will probably not order again.

The Pizza Athena with mock duck, and the strawberry mocktail is my new go-to (the bruscetta with riNOTa as an appetizer)! They have plenty of vegetarian and non-dairy options. We went on a Tuesday around 7:30 and got a booth like we wanted and didn’t have to wait for service. The server was patient and helpful, and the food was hot and delicious! We used to order take out here but it’s a great experience dining in, too.
