They should get 5 stars pizza best in area but spirits where low a few drafts on tap but mixed drinks was low appetizers where fantastic had meatballs and had poppers and a split pizza Margherita half and sausage wonderful crisp crust will go back

We had a pleasant late lunch outdoors on a sunny, 72 degree day. Four of us plus baby and dog sat at two table tops. Server was very nice and attentive. Large selection of draft beers. I got the Guinness and the server poured it correctly. Pizza was good. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese.

We ordered a takeout pizza. When we arrived to pick up the order they were completely “out of dough”. The took our order for pizza though… They had a sliced pizza for sell by the slice, that was exactly the pizza we ordered. They refused to box it up for us because the bartender Tim stated “he’s trying to do business and needed it for his guests and it was already sliced”. Tim doesn’t have a business he’s an employee for a pizza business, they sell pizza, we paid for said pizza, and he denied the service. Also, apparently the don’t slice their pizza for pick up orders. Tim stated he couldn’t sell the prepared pizza because it was already sliced… They refused any solution and a manager was not on duty. Tim was extremely rude when I politely questioned his logic in not selling the pizza. I know he just wanted to keep it for drinkers at the bar, but that’s not how business is conducted. This place will deny you service when you’ve already paid and the food is readily available at the counter. Go to Madison’s across the street for better service and better food!

Great IPA selection, Caesar salad (not pictured), the New Yorker Pizza and and an empty beer. Beer choices great. Service extra slow. Got my own crushed red pepper. We did leave a 20% tip, regardless of the extra slow service. We paid cash too…so we did not have to wait for change…

Very good pizza bar. You can order and drink at the bar or sit and be served. The pizza was quite good, fairly thin and high quality ingredients. I also got the breaded cauliflower which was good- it was a huge portion! Service was friendly. It did get really busy and rowdy as the nite went on… But seems like a place you can still bring kids.

Always a favorite when in Sarasota!!! I love a simple slice of NY style cheese pizza. Love the flavor and moderately-crispy crust! Perfect. Actually, I go to Pizza and Brew every time I’m in the Sarasota area. I’m from Ohio and appreciate great pizza, so if you’re looking for a great slice head here. Great draft beer selection, as well.

They have a dj Friday and Saturday nights. A packed bar, friendly staff & patrons as well. Lots of local craft brew on tap, full bar, lots of tv’s, some games to play, seasonal specials like St Patty’s Day, sporting events, local events, etc.. Great location. Parking can be an issue, unless you use one of the garages (just don’t take my spot outside whole foods… :p ). Last time I was there I placed my order right before a large one came in. Owner gave me a slice and a beverage while I waited. Excited to see this place so busy! Awesome job, will be back again (if you see me, say hi).
