The food was okay. But they now have a hand written paper sign on the front door saying CASH ONLY. I went in and asked the waitress if cash only was permanent? She said yes but pointed to an ATM machine they have at the entrance. This is ridiculous!!! They are trying to save money and make a little from having the ATM machine? This restaurant has to catch up with the times fast. I’ve been eating here on and off since 1974. No more. I won’t be back.

Rude staff, lady answered phone with no greeting and seemed annoyed when I asked if this was pizza palace. Ended up going there directly to order, they seemed annoyed I wanted to place a take out order, took the waitress several minutes to find something to write my order down. I walked out after she couldn’t figure out what a small pizza was. Place smelled amazing but definitely catered to those who were dining in. Went up the road to rt 33 pizza way better experience

I went there with some friends that grew up in the area. I got just a plain steak and cheese nothing special and an order of onion rings. The grinder was good. Steak was seasoned well and plenty of cheese on a toasted roll. The rings where good. Not my favorite style but Still good.

When I contacted this establishment to ask about an allergen in the pizza I was simply told that the gluten free crust came prepackaged frozen and the regular pizza was made in house. When I asked about a specific allergen in the pizza they stated “I don’t know”. When I asked if they could check the ingredients to see if the allergen was listed as an ingredient they said “No” and refused to check the ingredient list. I asked very nicely and planned to place a large order because I have a big family, and would have come back many times if I had had a good experience. I have never seen any eating establishment have such a blatant disregard and refusal to care about food allergies. It is the LAW to be informed about ingredients and provide this information to customers. I have never been treated this poorly by any eating establishment I have inquired with before.
