1st night of vacation 8/13/23, brought kids here for dinner. Went to the food line, salad bar was disgusting, no lettuce and food all over . Next was the pizza are oh no PIZZA next was the chicken area. We all got 1 piece and gone. No coffee made. The entire place was a mess. No dessert pizzas. Cost me nearly $60 for nothing. They were so far behind they could not catch up. I asked about coffee and the girl said they were making it. Never came out. Would NEVER go here again.

Went out for supper for the first time in a long time. I was excited for chicken! It was later evening, Friday evening, about 7:30 pm. We had trouble finding a table that was clean, floors were gross. Hardly anything fresh on buffet. Chicken was like rubber, I didn’t even finish it, salad bar was sparse, very, very poor selection of pizza. I will not return. Worst Pizza Ranch experience I have ever had.

We were in for a late lunch but the food was good. However there were multiple tables with stacks of dishes, silverware, etc, that needed to be cleaned off…and even some that had nothing on them had not been cleaned off. There were more flies than customers. Sadly the food was decent and the service was good, but no reason for the restaurant to be in that shape at around 3 PM.

This is our fourth time eating at this Pizza Ranch the food is always good (when there’s actually food on the buffet) and the staff is always very friendly. But every time we go here the buffet is ALWAYS picked over. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch time in the middle of the week or dinner time on the weekends. Today there was no pizza, no pasta, no chicken, no desert pizzas, nothing. The only thing on the buffet was a small amount of mashed potatoes and the salad bar was pretty well stocked. Every time we eat here guests are just basically standing at the buffet waiting for food to be brought out.

Pizza Ranch in Mitchell, SD was the first time we’d ever eaten at a Pizza Ranch. We had been driving all day and arrived at 7:00. I was worried the food wouldn’t be fresh since their closing time was 8:00. I’m glad I was wrong. The food was fresh and delicious and the buffet was replenished right up until closing time. I was impressed with the variety of food available- various pizzas, a well-stocked salad bar, fried chicken, multiple sides, pasta, dessert pizzas, and ice cream. The young man at the register was very friendly and made sure we knew what to do since it was our first visit. I’m sad we don’t have a Pizza Ranch where we’re from. I would definitely recommend Pizza Ranch, especially the one in Mitchell, S.D., to anyone.

Worst Pizza Ranch ever. They are not like this in NW Iowa. The buffet was empty, no chicken, gravey, marinara sauce. The food was cold and the pizza’s were dried out and overdone. When the chicken did come out, it tasted aweful, like it was just reheated in very old oil. The floors were disgusting, covered in food and the buffet counters were just as bad. We had to even tell them to turn the ice-cream machine on.

Was driving through and decided to try it. Good thing I’m not from here because I’d never come back. Walked in and had to wait to be served. Went up to get food there was a little at the salad bar and maybe half of 4 types of pizza like 3 peices of chicken and a few other things. The mashed potatoes were dried up and a lot of the food was just not put out. Tried to go up 3 more times in the span of maybe an hour and there was just less and less. The workers aren’t too friendly and the phone was ringing multiple times and no one answered in when they were standing right next to it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. It’s not worth the time or money.
