Pizza Roma was founded in 2000 by two high school friends, Ed and Rick, who both grew up near the Woodstock area. Ed – who loves to eat, and Rick – who loves to cook, wanted to bring their passions together to open a restaurant that would offer Portlanders high-quality, gourmet-style pizza that was both affordable and convenient. The two wanted to not only cater to the “pizza aficionado” but also provide a great neighborhood place for families.
In 2005, Roma Coliseum was born after the record store that occupied the other half of the building closed shop. The expansion allowed Pizza Roma to offer a full service sports bar combined with the incredible culinary delights of the pizza restaurant.

07/29/2023 – I went here for the first time today with my mom, my friend and her mom and I got to say it was amazing! The staff seemed nice and friendly, the food was delicious (the salad was great too but the ranch was kind of drying out so I didn’t finish the rest of the salad but it was still good), and it was clean. My mom had salad but it had onions but it was still good and the ranch too and she let me have some of her salad (it was kind of weird but it’s okay). What I loved most was there wasn’t that much people and it felt like all four us were the only ones there but there was two more customers but it was still fine. Inside was a TV which played some of the popular sitcoms and that’s good too!

I was recommended to check this place out. Not gonna lie, since I moved to Portland my taste for pizza has changed. A lot. It’s nearly impossible to think about ordering from Papa John’s or Pizza Hut ever again. And its spots like Pizza Roma that are making this possible.

Recently discovered this local to us restaurant & decided to order up a pie, it was wonderful. After that, we ordered a couple more and they were also great but tonight we decided to try the prime rib dinner & I must say it was absolutely amazing! After some technical issues with the oven & having to start completely over with the prime rib. There was a little bit of an extra wait & the fiance was (hangry) however the staff were very pleasant & accommodating. A gentleman came out & explained the situation & really made our entire experience perfect.Will definitely be trying more items from the menu & be back for more delicious prime rib! Ps. The Prime Rib IS worth the wait

Never write reviews but this was pretty disappointing. Got an order of meatballs to go and instead of six meatballs, it was three meatballs with each one cut in half. Tasted fine but cmon now. I’m not sure if that’s standard procedure for that dish or if they were running low on them and decided to try to make each one go further. Could’ve told me y’all were low or even that you were out of them and I would’ve been totally cool with it. So yeah, disappointing also considering I left a healthy tip and they didn’t seem busy. Have worked many kitchen jobs myself so I’m generally sympathetic, but this was pretty weak. The photo is what it looked like when I first opened it.

We ordered the Johnny Boy and Betty White. Both were delicious! They also have a great beer selection so bring your growler when you pick up your pizza. We’ve tried the African Amber and the dry apple cider. Both were great.
