I was in town on business and, well, this town doesn’t have much. This looked like the only game in town for lunch and I’m really glad I stopped! Friendly people, good selection, unfortunately I only had $8 on me and they take cash only, so instead of a personal pie I got a turkey sub — I got a turkey sub so big and so stuffed I got 2 meals out of it! If you’re from around there, go. If you’re not, make the trip, you’ll thank me.

I hate to leave this review because my family and I have always loved the Pizza Star in Three Springs but my last experience with them was so upsetting I feel I have to. On 1/8/2023 I had ordered food for a group of 9 people from Pizza Star and when we brought it home we realized we were missing a toss salad and 2 orders of fries. Nothing crazy, so I had called in and explained what we were missing and the person on the phone was ridiculously rude. Instead of trying to help us resolve the issue of missing items all she did was argue with us about how she didn’t write those items down and she said we were never charged for those items, which was not true because our order was almost $100 and we did not order that much food. And since we were a group of 9 we had written our order down on a piece of paper before ordering so we didn’t miss anything and had read that off to her when ordering the order, we knew we had everything correct she just didn’t write the order down right but she acted like it was all our fault. So like I said instead of trying to help us resolve the issue and be kind she just argued with us about it and eventually we said Nevermind forget it and we hung up. I have worked in food business and I have never argued with a customer over the mistake I had made, I fixed it. But Pizza Star decided to argue with us over stupid little things like a toss salad and 2 orders of fries. We use to eat there at least once a week and now I never want to eat there again, not because of the quality of food but because of the horrible person on the phone.

YOU CAN’T FIX STUPID
I’ve been stopping by this pizza shop for years on my way to camp and even make it a point to get over there when I spend weeks up that way. Every worker I have ever held a conversation with has been absolutely wonderful, polite and very professional. The food is absolutely wonderful. Oh and by the way, just an FYI this isn’t your ordinary pizza joint either, yes there pizza’s, Strombolis and calzones are awesome and bold with flavor but, yes there’s a but. Lol if you find yourself towards three springs one afternoon I highly recommend stopping in for dinner. There menu is phenomenal!!! When they say Italians make the best food there’s no lying there. The “fettuccine Alfredo”, “lasagna w/ sausage” and “shells Parmigian w/ sausage” are my top 3 favorites. I have eaten every dish on there menu for dinner , there’s not 1 I seriously wouldn’t have again for dinner, really is like having a home cooked meal. Food is filling but always seems to make us sick. We ate from here 3 times during our trip and both me and my father had rather severe digestive upset. For an average of 80$ per order I am relatively disappointed.
