This is hands down the BEST pizza shop in Poway! I am not exaggerated in saying that; this shop has only been open for 6 months but the owners Alfredo and Billy are always in the shop and know thier way around making amazing pizza and sandwiches. I have been here a few times now and am absolutely addicted. San Diego pizza shops just got a serious new competitor. Don’t miss your chance to stop in and grab a slice or call in a pickup order. You will not be disappointed!

Great pizza! The crust was light and crispy! Every bite had a nice crunch!. Highly recommend the Margherita pizza!! And the garlic knots were phenomenal!!! I have a new favorite pizza place!!

Yum! Tried two pizzas – sausage and meatball (delicious and classic) and the healthy summer (a knockout ). Huge pizzas, perfect for leftovers. Fresh ingredients, homemade dough and a sweet and spicy Sicilian man (Alfredo) full of fun stories behind the counter whipping up everything by hand! Make sure to save room for dessert…the cannolis are the perfect size to finish off your meal with a few sweet bites!

After reading reviews, we tried Pizza Vero on Thursday. We ordered a vegetable pizza and had them add artichoke hearts and spinach. This pizza reminded me of the pizzas I had in Europe. The crust was light and crispy. The veggies were fresh and the house made pomodoro sauce was perfect. This is our pizza spot now. We are having leftover pizza for lunch today.

horrible waste of $35. got a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. the crust was tough, dry, and had no flavor, while the sauce was chunky and also had no flavor. the toppings were okay. got garlic knots that tasted like oil and lacked seasoning, with 2 cannolis that were about 3 in long. $7 each for garlic knots & 2 cannolis. we struggle with money and could’ve used that $35 on something way better or for groceries. thanks.

I go to the dance studio next door. I always go here to grab a bite after dance the food is always on pointe (get it like a pointe shoe). They are so sweet whenever someone gets injured they provide ice and I love the employees! And I haven’t tried but they even just added gelato and some jewelry! I love the new ideas! And they have the best drinks to choose from!

Was in the area visiting friends and needed a bite. Pizza Vero was both delicious and convenient! The owner was the one making the pizzas and accommodated my request for a custom job. I got half bbq chicken (add bacon amd onion!!) and half vero special.

It’s nice to have another local pizza spot. Pizza Vero is at a good location with good parking. Seating inside is enough for couples or a small group. Their pizza by the slice is awesome and always a good deal. The pepperoni had a good, full flavor and the crust was nice. Next time I’ll get a full pie and a little bit of something else. Pizza Vero is definitely worth a trip.
