MISSION’S HIDDEN GEM – Across from Zietgiest – San Francisco / Mission. Usually open till 3 AM – The well done pizza slices are to die for. Not a place for ambience but convenience after a late night out with friends. A typical family owned hole in the wall which survived the pandemic – so that says a lot about how great they are. Have been visiting this venue for years. Normally order my slices well done and it’s been a HUGE hit with friends from outa town. All in all 5 stars. A MUST AFTER BAR experience in the mission. Great on any given day.

Pizza Zone & Grill is open till 4am for late night cravings. They were the 2009 winner for Best of the Bay. The quick service and friendly staff members is a plus. Pizza Zone does local delivery to the Mission and Marina District in San Francisco.

Straight up delicious pizza. A good local place for pizza delivery. They have good size pizzas for reasonable prices. The quality is good and they have everything you would expect a pizza place to serve. Definitely a spot to keep in your back pocket for pizza in SF.

THE WORST WHITE PIE! Save your money, absolutely disgusting pizza, not thin crust, was burnt, not a bechamel sauce, couldn’t see the chicken, very cheap ingredients, it was very expensive for what i got. This is SF, not NY…your ingredients need to be better quality!

Based on some on the other bad reviews, I’m glad I just got hung up on… I’m excited to be in the city for the first time. As this was the only place open, I was all in. I didn’t say anything when the price was $9 more than the menu price. It was a delivery so I assumed it was tax and tip. As I started giving the lady my card number, she was clearly getting upset it was hard to understand me. I assumed they were busy as it was loud. She misheard my card number, got mad I corrected her, literally said “I don’t have time for this”, and hung up on me. Lol I’ve never experienced that before but knew my money would be better spent somewhere else. It’s sad to see poor customer service at good restaurants. Maybe it’s just the night crew…

We’re on vacation from the South, and California traffic had my nerves so messed up that I tossed my dinner night before last. So, last night we decided to just order in. The kids and I got excellent sushi from next door to the hotel, and we were going to order pizza hut or dominoes for my husband, who has the palate of a toddler. Neither delivers to our Bay-view hotel, oddly enough. We asked the front desk hostess if any local pizza places delivered, and she gave us pamphlets from 2. One is not delivering due to the plague (sad, as it was a pizza & shawarma spot and I totally placed to order some falafel and tabouli, sigh) so… Pizza Zone to the rescue!

They’re open until 3am, with indoor seating. As far as I remember the pizza was perfectly good.
