Amazing! Every item was thoughtfully prepared and cooked to perfection. Loved Laura’s grandma pie. The homemade pasta was fantastic. Laura’s sauces are a real strength, the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, rich bold tomato flavor. And be sure to get the fried calzone. Spot on. Can’t wait until I’m back in Berkeley so I can try the Sicilian.

Such an amazing pizza place. So many options and so much tasty foods. First let’s start with the restaurant. The location is perfect for Berkeley. Parking at center street parking is 3 min walk. Or you can bart in to get there. Perfect.

I got the vodka cream pasta and toots pizza NY style and both were so good! I only gave 4 stars because of the fact that they ran out of pizza dough. We came in on a Sunday evening and they only had NY style left. All of my friends and I REALLY wanted to try the Detroit style so we were a little disappointed. Additionally, all of their meat options are pork. I think that they should add more diversity in the protein options for those who don’t eat pork.

Three seniors out for supper. Seated quickly. Ordered Caesar salad and vegan grandma pizza. Salad arrived first while pizza was delayed. Courtesy NYC soda was provided. When pizza arrived, it was mounted on stand not conducive for cutting of pizza. Other customers received their orders before we got ours. Reason given was a mixup of order to kitchen. Enjoyed dining at Pizzeria da Laura which serves delicious pizzas in 4 styles-New York,Sicilia,Detroit and Grandma. Had ordered Lil’One(vodka cream sauce,garic,basil, mozzarella, shaved parmigiano, reggiano and had added mushrooms) in Detroit Style…the crust of that burnt cheese tasted yumm..would definitely try their other style pizzas next time.

Absolutely a must try pizzeria. Laura does an amazing job with her pizza. We had the NY style Ray J it was cooked perfectly with so much flavor with 2 types of pepperoni, burrata cheese and basil. We also had a grandma style cheese and the crust was delicious nice and crunchy also cooked perfectly. There is also a great drink menu I would recommend trying the cosmic hard cider. The deep fried calzones are huge and look amazing. Anything you order here will not disappoint.

We ordered The Marge with Sausage, Grandma. The flavor of the pizza was good. I enjoy thin crust pizza for me it was more of a crunch and no chew. I had a cocktail, The Little Italy-which I liked. We ended with the Tiramisu, highly recommend. The waiter was friendly. We were seated upstairs it was hot and dark. They did have a fan on to circulate the air. I would go back and try the NY pizza.
