Everything about Pizzetta was AMAZING. We had the vegan pizza and it did not disappoint us. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was perfectly balanced, and the fresh garlic was star of the show! The atmosphere was calm and seriously cool vibes. Our waiter Stephen was friendly, informative, and checked in with us throughout our meal ensuring we had the best experience. We drove 3 1/2 hours for pizza and we will certainly do it again, worth every moment.

Vegan approved!! Pizzetta is a gourmet pizza restaurant located in the heart of Mystic, CT. They offer numerous Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free options. It is a family-friendly and dog-friendly eatery. I ordered a 12″ Vegan Pizza, which consisted of mushrooms, fresh basil, tomato-based sauce, and Follow Your Heart cheeze. The crust was thin and crispy. So delicious!! I give Pizzetta two thumbs up!

Pizzetta is a family favorite of ours and we stop here every time we’re in Mystic. We chose to eat inside instead of the patio we love as there was a threat of rain. The bartender, Kelly, handled the crowd very well and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. We had the gluten free loaded baked potato pizza, which was delicious as always. Cocktails were decent and the atmosphere was buzzing, but not too loud so that we couldn’t talk during lunch.

OMG! I love this place! I can’t explain how happy it made me that they have separate menus for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. As a vegan, I truly appreciate it when a restaurant makes this small extra effort since it’s so much easier on me than to comb through a combined menu and then having to ask the wait staff about potential substitutions, etc..

Fabulous pizza! The crust was thin, but it wasn’t labeled as thin crust. Fresh and hot, wonderful flavor (some pizzas can taste flat or the sauce is not very good). Pizetta had a fairly decent drink menu too. I had a glass of the Johnathon Edwards Stone Table White, semi dry and delicious! Great outdoor area, large patio, we went on Sunday and there was live music. Nell, our server, was very attentive and checked on us frequently. If you’re in the area, check this place out!

The bruschetta was delicious. The Philly cheese steak was decent but the meat lacked flavor and why four stars for food. The waitress Phoebe was slow and inattentive as we waited for our check a long time. In lower level and quaint setting.

Great thinish crust style pizza. Currently renovating their upstairs indoor seating. I wish they had a larger bar and offered delivery, but still a great place to visit with reasonable prices unlike most of the rest of Mystic. Also offer gluten free and vegan (or maybe vegetarian?) menus.
