This place is AMAZING! We were in the area during our family’s annual vacation to Erie and found this place to be an absolute gem. The owner, Dawn, and her husband, could not have been better hosts. They are spectacular! We had the stuffed pizza balls (sorry I forgot the name!) and the garlic chips as appetizers – both were outstanding. We then had the Grandma’s pizza. This place has perhaps the absolute best pizza dough recipe. The crust is phenomenal and they use high quality cheeses and have a very tasty pizza sauce. One of the best pizzas that I’ve ever had and I live in Chicago! Pizzi’s is about 45 minutes from where we stay each year on Erie on our annual vacation but we will most definitely be making the drive to Conneaut each year now to eat there! So good and the absolute best hosts! See ya next July, Pizzis!

I’ve been going there usually once a month for 12 years. It’s a wonderful place to sit with friends or family. The food, there, is delicious and the kitchen has always been spotless. I also like outside dining area. Kinda resembles an old Italian street Cafe.

Always good food at Pizzi Cafe. I have never been disappointed. However,I don’t like the baked wings and fries or fountain iced tea. That is just personal preference.

We waited 2 hours and 35 minutes before our meal was served. Orders and service was not in first come, first served basis. Did not have the first two choices of wine from the limited, albeit good, list of bottles…they did have the third choice. The draft beer ordered was delivered 30 minutes after the wine, after prompting. Ran out of dough for kids pizzas. Waitress apologized mid-way through the wait saying they had salads stacked up all over the kitchen…then we were finally served dinner ironically without the salads and without bread! The spaghetti and meatballs had minimal sauce and the waitress said they ran out. What Italian restaurant runs out of sauce and serves pasta without Italian bread. While the food was good, certainly not worth the time nor trouble.

Takes me an hour to drive there, always worth it. Great pizza, usually need to get a second one to take home. Service is usually top notch too if it’s not totally swamped.

Excellent service! Food is served at the proper temperature, not scalding and nuked to death. Generous portions and tasty. Warm homemade bread is a plus. First time visit and it won’t be the last.

“Pizzi’s” what more can I say? Simply the best stromboli’s this side of Italy. Also you must try the lasagna. I grew up 2nd generation Italian on both sides, my late Mom’s lasagna is the one by which all others are judged and Pizzi’s comes closer than any other I’ve tried.

I just go up to enjoy the lake with my daughter and husband and niece and we always stop to get the pizza for dinner! Excellent taste and family atmosphere! I am a food carnivore! Love this place and pizza is delicious!

I can’t comment on the food seeing as we were treated like lepers since the moment we walked in the door. Barely anyone on staff. Waitress was extremely rude, then proceeded to take other customers that arrived after us. We were told rudely to sit anywhere. Waited thirty minutes and decided to leave since we still haven’t seen a menu, or water. Ended up just going to Pizza Hut, their pizza is the same in any state.

Overpriced for what you get. Last time we were there, only 1 waitress to serve a packed restaurant! NOT impressed at all. Everyone thinks Pizzi’s is so great…well it used to be but their prices are WAY high.
