Pizzacato Pizza offers a nice variety of specialty pizzas. From meat-forward to all veggies, there’s bound to be a slice for everyone in the family. Additionally, they offer a variety of fresh salads as well. I’ve tried all the salads and all ingredients are fresh and generously portioned. They have lots of seating inside and out, and we don’t usually have too much trouble finding a place to sit. There is lots of parking too.

We have enjoyed this Pizzicato location since they opened long ago. Sadly, the most recent experience will be our last. On 6/3 we ordered delivery with an estimated arrival time approximately 90 minutes later. I used $24 we had in rewards towards payment and added a 20% tip. The food showed up at least 30 minutes late and was cold, boxes were smooshed and open, and items missing (that we had paid extra for). The driver’s only response was that he didn’t know anything about it because “I just do delivery.” I was frustrated and disappointed after having other missing items in the past and letting it go so I called and spoke with an employee who was very nice to call me back later when they were less busy. She listened and said she was going speak with the manager and someone would get back to me the next day (6/4). I’ve heard nothing from them (as of 6/9). We ended up throwing away most of the food and wasting a lot of money.

Pizzicato is my favorite pizza, and that’s saying something. I eat a lot of pizza! The sauce, the cheese, the crust, the variety of toppings, Pizzicato stands out in every way with outstanding quality and taste. I’ve been eating regularly at various Pizzicato locations for years, and very rarely have I been disappointed. The staff is generally very friendly. I love the seasonal pizzas. The only reason that this is a 4-star review is I have recently twice attempted to order a cheese pizza with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes added after baking and both time have received the order incorrectly. The first time the tomatoes were cooked onto the pizza, soaking everything in tomato juice and making a soggy mess, the second time they left the regular shredded mozzarella off the cheese pizza, only adding fresh mozzarella before baking! These kind of mistakes with the most classic pizza ingredients are kind of embarrassing for a place of this caliber. These incidents aside though, there are few restaurants that I can recommend as easily as Pizzicato.

After some confusion with our order and then a burned pizza I figured this would be another over priced waste of time. I was wrong! The staff was friendly and fixed the mistakes promptly. When the right pizza’s showed up they were well worth it. The ingredients tasted very fresh. The wide variety of gourmet specialtie pizza’s to choose from makes you want to come back for more. They also have a few styles of beer on tap to make the experience even better. Overall a really good pizza restaurant with a family friendly atmosphere. I would certainly recommend this place for all pizza lovers.

Service was good and pizza was okay, incredibly friendly staff and the wait was fair given that they looked pretty busy. If you like very thin crust pizza you will enjoy the pizza! The sandwiches and salad are also delicious and would make a very good lunch if you are in the area. Plenty of good seating for dining-in

You’d think that a pizza place wouldn’t have great salad, but by golly this place has some of the best salads in the city in my opinion. A lot of their pizzas are also amazing, but I’m excited to try their special salad of the month whenever I drop by. So so good.

After 3 years of getting pizza from this place, not sure why I haven’t written a review yet. When we moved here 3 yrs ago, we fell in love with their wild mushroom pizza even tho we’re not vegetarian. We almost always get half wild mushroom and half of something else, usually their monthly specials are good, but again, their wild mushroom pizza is the best. We did have had a few instances where it was just off… (lack of variety of mushroom toppings, or soggy pizza, or toppings bunched up in one area, etc) hence the 4 rating instead of 5 due to lack of consistency. The pizza dough is on the thinner end, just how I like it, and the crust is soft (our toddler likes! haha). The other pizzas are tasty too, but the meat toppings are a bit too salty for us. Their cheese breadsticks are delicious too. They also have a very generous loyalty rewards program so over the 3 years we were able to redeem it for free pizza a couple times.
