Our friends recommended the pizza here, and now I’m surprised we never tried it before. We had the Bee’s Knees, and it was absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of Dark Sky beers to go along with it. It was so good, we went back the next day for lunch before heading back home to Mesa.

The staff was wonderful on the Pizzicletta side (when dining here you will have 2 separate servers – 1 from Pizzicletta and 1 from Dark Sky) We were greeted promptly upon turning on the light at our table to order. Our food arrived quickly and looked delicious but it fell a little short on flavor. It was incredibly thin and just flopped down when picking it up and there was an overwhelming char flavor to it. I love wood oven pizza and the char flavor that comes with it, but the char was the only thing you taste on this one. We followed our pizza up with the gelato flight and that was phenomenal! Highly recommend trying it if you stop in. Hopefully the pizza issue is a fluke (although I read a few reviews that had the same issues). I expected more substance to our pizza for what it cost. We ended up leaving hungry and finding somewhere else to eat.

We ordered 2 pizzas one would have been enough because we knew we were getting the gelato.. the pizza was good not the best we have had but the gelato flight was out of this world and worth the visit…there were 4 of us and we had more than we could finish.. sat outside on the backside food patio..

My friends and I enjoyed the unique brewery x pizza restaurant experience. The friendly staff seated us at a shared table and explained the lighting system. Every table has a light you can turn on to call staff over. One waiter from Pizzicletta will come to take your pizza order and a different one will come for your DSB order.

Pizza flavors are incredible. Also, pizza does not even give you a gut bomb when you overeat because the ingredients are so good. Would have given 5 stars for service because the servers were attentive and nice. However, they still have that weird set up where you order food from pizzicletta and drinks from dark sky. Also, the place has a little bit of a loud acoustic setting. Awesome place though.

Ordered the Bee’s knees and the bacon and shallot. Kids liked the bee’s and adults loved the bacon. We shared a Caesar salad which was a pretty presentation and yummy. You pay 2 tabs… one to pizzicleta and one to dark sky brewing… interesting concept that works. Still a bit hot directly under the sun on the patio this early September. It didn’t have enough shade for all tables. Many of us had dogs that hid in shade under the table with water.

I’ve been dreaming of this pizza ever since I left the restaurant. My friend and I are on a mission to find the best pizza around the United States. So far we’ve visited multiple pizzerias in various cities/states, and I can say, without a doubt, that this is the best pizza yet. The beer was amazing as well. Spectacular, friendly service and the food didn’t take long even though they were busy. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We had this excellent pizza while visiting Dark Sky Brewery! We ended up coming here twice in one day and ordered a pepperoni pizza and the Bee’s Knees. The Bee’s Knees had mozzarella, sausage, honey, and sage which was SO delicious! The pepperoni was yummy too — the pepperoni are a bit spicy. All of the pizzas came out very quickly. We also ordered some gelato — it was nice and creamy!
