I ordered two meals through uber eats; jerk chicken w/ vegetable rice, cabbage, plantain and curry chicken w/ rice & peas, cabbage, plantain with a side of mac and cheese. The rice had oxtail gravy as requested but there was no sauce on the chicken even though I requested sauce. The chicken was very dry and stale. I had to throw out majority of the pieces of chicken. The vegetable rice tasted mediocre. It was just yellow rice w/ frozen mixed vegetables. The curry chicken meal was packaged very poorly. The mac n cheese was placed under the main dish causing it to be soggy. There was no cabbage with my meal, instead there was cole slaw. Everything was piled up on top of each other. Very distasteful. I usually order from here and enjoy the food but this time was not good.

Jesus Christ the food today was awful, how do you manage to have some oxtail that’s falling off the bone and some still clinging on for dear life. Also, if people are ordering a large meal why is most of the plate rice. I didn’t ask for a large meal of rice and peas, the rice is the side. Lastly, stop selling old chicken foot soup, the broth tasted like it was spoiled.

So i tend to order from PJ’s almost every other night. The last few times were absolutely abysmal. Tonight was the final night i will ever order and I’d honestly argue that you should not waste your time as well. Of all the west indian seafood spots available especially in the area? This is the least clean one and the presentation is absolutely terrible. I ordered stew beef and white rice, the rice that was given to me was Rock hard and had chunks of almost inedible rice every spoonful i was catching, on top of that it was only one piece of stew beef and the rest was potatoes. I ordered because its a Friday night and i Didn’t feel like waiting for defrosting meat. Yet now i have to go to sleep hungry because i refuse to eat hard rice and potatoes

Jerk chicken is one of my favorite dishes so I try from different restaurants all the time and I just want to say this restaurant is my absolute favorite.
