Was coming through town and my son wanted pizza for lunch. Wasn’t feeling gas station pizza so called about 10 minutes out and our pizza was ready when we walked in! Great crust, great sauce, a little greasy but pepperoni will do that. Will be back for sure!

I preordered a bunch of pizzas and breadsticks for my son’s 4th bday party the Wednesday before his party. The day of the party the time had past when the pizza should have been delivered. I called PJs and found out they accidentally put the order in for a later weekend in the month. The owner went above and beyond and got everything in my order cooked and delivered to my house in record time. My husband and I had no problem paying as it ended up only being a hour or so later from when we originally wanted them delivered. She would not accept my payment and gave them to us for free. I was shocked and did not expect that. I found her customer service to be exemplary and everyone loved the pizza. We all know mistakes happen, but she went above and beyond and I will recommend them to anyone!

The fact that this is the only pizza place (that I’m aware of) that delivers to Mazomanie (despite Pizza Hut in Sauk City being a similar distance) automatically makes this a special place. The food is good (although a tad too garlicky on the crust/sauce, but that’s a personal preference), the service is prompt and the wait times are pretty clearly conveyed. I appreciate their willingness to travel a little bit to their customers and I always try to pay that forward to the drivers.

Normally I would give PJS a 5 star as it never disappoints the food is so delicious!!! I’m not sure what has happened over the past couple of weeks but since this was the 2nd time in the past week I couldn’t help but post since calling really gets you no where as far as accountability. The first experience was finding a hair in my pizza. I got the small 7 inch pizza and on my 3rd slice I pulled a long black hair out of my mouth, I am blonde. I was not mad but I knew that the dough is pre made so I wanted them to know. I did not ask for refund or replacement but after the woman on the phone kept talking in circles and saying things like “stuff happens, accidents happen” yes they do but hair in food is almost no acceptable in my books. Now today. I order a club sub, quite often. I ask for no ham. Normally this sub is full of meat, Mayo dripping so never have I thought to ask for double or anything nor extra add on’s. I get my sub today and could not believe that this was made this way. I did call for a replacement as I couldn’t believe it and I felt like I was wrong in asking for one. Hopefully this doesn’t continue happening because I would be upset to not be able to call on PJS !!!

This is the third time I’ve ordered garlic sauce and didn’t receive. I ordered a large cheese and chicken ranch. The cheese was so terrible. No flavor at all, just bland. Chicken ranch was okay, it has been better in the past. Don’t order the wings, they saturate them and sauce. $100 for a mediocre dinner!!!

Really great pizza place. Pizza is pretty amazing and the hot subs are really great. Even their salads look wonderful. I would love to give them 5 stars (because they really are) but the last few times we’ve ordered it’s taken hours to get our stuff. The last time I was there there was several people that had been waiting 45 min plus over their expected delivery time to get their food. I think they are just literally that insanely busy. Which is really awesome but comes with a cost. Their customer service is really to notch as well.
