This was my first experience with Planet Sub. I ordered and paid online which was great. I did not like being forced set up an account before paying. Also, be careful if paying online; the box that asks if you want your card info saved is automatically checked. When I pulled up, there were so many people loitering on the side walk, I almost kept going. My food was ready when I arrived. The taste was just ok…nothing to write home about.

Food was great, service might have been the best and most hospitable i’ve ever seen. Owner was nice, gave a bunch of recommendations for food and even helped with parking when our meter was confusing. I got the experience, which came out within a minute, (and we had 3 subs). I can’t give this place enough stars!! I love a good sub sandwich, but can’t stand most of the popular places like JJ, Jersey Mike’s, etc. But Planet Sub?! I love this place so much. The only one I know of still in business is in the city of STL. It’s quite the drive for us, but totally worth it.

Craving a deli sandwich I went to barnetts, and they were out of lettuce so I ended up here. I’m sooo mad I’m late on discovering planet sub is one of the best sandwich shops in STL since I no longer live here. Now what I’m gonna do when I’m craving a sub . This is a hidden gem of a sandwich shop in downtown St. Louis. I have been several times and their hot sandwiches never disappoint. The best way to describe them is that they are a little like a Quiznos sandwich, but they actually taste good. They give you lots of quality ingredients then toast it with gooey melted cheese. Yum. The people who work there are super nice and I will definitely be back again.
