We went here on Friday evening. The server seated us at the very back of the second floor – right in front of the blasting AC! We had to move ourselves to another table as it was super cold (in the middle of hot summer!).

Honestly I would have given this location all five’s on service and atmosphere but to me the 1st point of contact the host or hostess is the one that sets the mood. The gentleman that was working as host this day did not even speak to me just basically looked at me and had me follow him to my seat and said nothing whatsoever . If it wasn’t for Erin, my server, who was on her 1st day there, I probably would have marked it down to a 3, but she was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, and I wish the servings would have been a little smaller, so I didn’t have to bring anything home, but the flavors were amazing, and I can’t wait to come back! I look forward to coming here for happy hour!

Plank Kitchen was a happy find! I ordered the Plank Burger with a side ceaser salad with the Plank Margarita. The Margarita was perfectly balanced and the dinner was delicious. The portion size was generous and the service was fast without sacrificing quality. The server was attentive and very kind. If I lived in the area I would definitely return!

Everything about this place was great! It was a quick 15 min wait for a walk-in table mid lunch. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. The pretzel sticks are a must have! Our salads were really good; everything was super fresh. Everything we tasted was delicious! Definitely going back to try some different dishes soon.

We were in the general area for a wedding. The day before we left, we did some exploring and decided to drop in for a late lunch/early dinner. I got the baked buttermilk chicken sandwich with a side salad (and ranch dressing to die for) and my friend got the BLT with sweet potato fries. Everything was amazing. My chicken was juicy, the bourbon slaw was a perfect tangy bite, and the fried green tomato added great acid and crunch. The BLT had big, thick slices of bacon and the sweet potato fries were crispy. The staff was friendly, super fast, and willing to accommodate anything we needed. One of them noticed me lose some slaw on my lap and rushed over some extra napkins. Just great service.

Great staff and service all around. The burger is called white truffle burger. That truffle alone is worth it. Great balance taste and the crispy fried onion bed compliments its texture. Patty was cooked just right. So shout out to Josh and David. Staff Zia, Jordan and Grace. Great experience.

Tried this place for a lunch today with my Mom. The Prime Rib Dip sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in ages, and our server Alyssa (sp?) was attentive and very nice. Only minor complaints would be that the tater tots were too salty, and even eating out on the porch there was too much noise (loud music on the porch, music and loud crowd of people inside) to fully enjoy the meal. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for some place new to try in Folsom. Will probably go back as several other menu items looked very tempting.
