Some of the best smoothie bowls in the area and my favorite place to go when I’m strictly in the mood for a smoothie/bowl! Tried every smoothie bowl base there and I haven’t had a bad one but the pitaya is my fave. Always topped with ripe fruit and they probably serve the biggest bowls as well. Good bang for your buck!

My experience at Playa Bowls new Avon location last week was more than I expected. Staff member Benjamin was very helpful and completed my order quickly with little wait time. Usually quite good, but sometimes they put in very unripe, inedible fruit…so it looks delicious but doesn’t always taste delicious. My mango and kiwi was rock hard and I had to eat around it and I’m almost positive I had canned pineapple in my bowl today. Just offer alternative, ripe fruit to the customers if you don’t have fresh options please!

Loved this place always went and got smoothies very often but after seeing an employee post all the rotten fruit they cut up and still blend in the smoothies I haven’t been back since …. That’s really scary that the employees don’t care enough to ensure everything is fresh especially considering how pricey it here. ( i would post the picture I saw but I never screen shotted the story of the employee )
