I love playa bowls especially this location usually the staff at this location is very on it and upbeat but today I was BEYOND disappointed. I ordered my bowl way ahead of time like when I was at the linden train stop only to arrive & find out it hasn’t even been made which was okay I wasn’t in a crazy rush. My bowl though was an absolute mess bases were layered on top of each other instead of side to side & no honey & peanut butter on top of my fruits. I have no idea what was up with the staff this morning but I hope they do better!

This is a great dessert and smoothie place, not a luncheon. The playa Bowls have a lot fruit and granola and Nutella, chia seeds, etc. Do not expect to go for a luncheon salad that you might get at Whole Foods. The playa bowls are more like a healthy sundae. I didn’t try the smoothies, some of which have kale as an ingredient but I am not really a smoothie person.

Horrible workers there ! Nasty and give you attitude! I paid for extra on the bowl and they didn’t add it . The first time I thought it was a mistake and I get it .. mistakes happen . BUT the second time when I double checked and it was wrong I kindly asked the teenagers working if they could fix it and all of them rolled their eyes and just was very unpleasant. Definitely will not be going back to this location !

Ordered online. No wait. So fresh and delicious. I’m originally from the shore and frequent the original playa bowls often. For being new, you couldn’t even tell. Same flavor and quality as their other locations. I’m so happy there’s a playa bowls 10 min from me again, sweet berry was not cutting it for me.

I went here grand opening day but at night. Nice atmosphere and they decorated it well. Employees were very inviting. Bowls were also great! The only thing is they should be allowed to take orders over the phone and not just through DoorDash, Grubhub, etc. Otherwise, this is a great place to visit.

For it being the 3rd day open, i had really high hopes. The music was so loud that the employees couldn’t even hear you. The wait time was pretty long even with a short line. I found 2 blueberries in my bowl when my order didn’t even have blueberries in it? And they were hard and crunchy and it was weird. Besides that it was okay.

The base to the bowl was to hard, normally it’s a smooth consistency. Also never enough granola small scoop at the bottom. The drinks are never a full cup. I continue to try. I may have to go back to edison. However the employees are sweet and attentive at the woodbridge location. I’m hoping this is just a learning curve since they just opened.

Was so excited for this location to open as I live so close however I’ve been here at least 5 times since they opened (recently opened) and the service is just terrible. No acknowledgment by staff when you approach register. No reason a customer should be standing at the register for over 5 mins without a simple “I’ll be right with you” when there are at least 5 employees standing around. Only location where you can’t sub your milk in the base. The base has been frozen solid on 2 of my visits where I couldn’t even eat it. The fruit was overly ripe on another visit, I couldn’t eat any of the strawberries because of this. Disappointing compared to other locations.

I ordered an açaí power bowl with NO BANANAS & what did I get? A whole different kind of bowl with bananas & blueberries (which weren’t ordered) along with coconut flakes (that were also not requested) First & last time going there.
