Best açaí bowls in Wilmington! We literally drive all the way from Leland to have these twice a month. I get the Nutella açaí bowl or nuteya bowl (pitaya) and my husband gets anything with a mango base and they don’t disappoint. Highly recommend this place. When the weather is nice, we like to sit outside and people watch. But the inside is pretty with a cool beach vibe. They also have lots of options on the menu and cool apparel for sale.

My Nutella bowl was really good, however the girl putting the toppings on the bowl was continuously touching her eyes, face, and licking her fingers. Yes she had gloves on, but that completely defeats the purpose if you’re going to continue touching your face and mouth when making food for people.

If you are craving Açai bowl, this is the place for it. They serve variety of bowls. I ordered the Nutelloco coconut and pacific green bowls. Both bowls tasted very delicious. I loved how they made them look exactly like the pictures. Highly recommended it.

When I come here the bowls are always pretty good but when I came in today there system broke down and I had to pay in cash which wasn’t the problem at all but they made my bowl wrong two times and when I went to ask for a refund the girl at the register was very rude and said “I don’t even know how to do that.” This is when someone next to her stepped in and asked me exactly what I got. I got my refund but the service was terrible. The girls making the bowls were also standing around talking while there was multiple people waiting for there orders.

This was my first time ordering. I usually go to Kalethy Living. The bowls from Playa are better and bigger. Paid a premium to have this delivered to down town Wilmington via DD. The bowl was delicious and still icy cold when it arrived. My only complaint is that I paid for extra peanut butter and did not receive it. Otherwise it would have been perfection.

My family really enjoys getting Playa Bowl. Acai bowls are our favorite. They’re always really sweet. I ordered online often and once I asked for mango and they didn’t have but still charged for it. I called after I left ( because I thought they just made a mistake) and the manager was so sweet about. We love Playa ❤️
