Recently moved to Atlanta from California, and being an acai bowl and smoothie lover, I must say that Playa Bowls is my go to for sure. I absolutely LOVE their bowls. Everything is fresh and delicious! Love the Coconut blends. This place exceeded my expectations. I go here several times in a week.

I have ordered delivery from Playa Bowls dozens of times, but today was my first time going in person. It was clean, bright and the staff was friendly. My only note to management would be to consider talking to the staff about the music – it was on an unedited hip-hop Playlist and the juxtaposition between the family friendly, neon, fruity vibes and the 30+ F-bombs I heard while in line was kind of jarring. I guess I just wasn’t expecting to hear so much about WAP at 1 in the afternoon? Still 5 stars from me personally because my Pura Vida bowl was outstanding as per usual, and because a fully grown adult and Megan Thee Stallion fan so I found it amusing, but I’m not sure the couple with the 4 year old child in line behind me felt the same. Anyway, enjoy your antioxidants, people!

I have been to this location several times in the past two months and it has not disappointed. On memorial day they closed at 10 PM and unlike other locations in this area, they open at 8 AM which is very convenient for my schedule. They make the bowls and smoothies quick so it’s in and out whenever I stop by. Staff is able pleasant and so far they’ve had everything I’ve ordered.

The smoothies here are good. However, this place is very expensive. $10 per smoothie is a little unreasonable, plus an extra $1 to add peanut butter. So, as much as I like it, I will not be returning very often. There are other smoothie places just as good that are more affordable.
