Flew into Long Beach and didn’t have time to go to my regular tortas spot. This well reviewed small shop did not disappoint. A healthy serving of mixed ceviche was perfect for such a hot day. It’s hard for me to turn down a torta ahogada (slow roasted pork sandwich drowned in a thick spicy red sauce). Both were excellent. The potato taco was also a treat.

This place gets the 4 stars for it’s tortas and ceviche. KEEP AWAY from the Chilaquiles – it is dry nation and just leaves you sad and hungry for lunch which is disappointing bc they make such great salsas. Why would you leave my hanging like that, from a Specials item no less.

Very friendly, always clean, service is fast, inexpensive. Im not a sea food fan, so I always order the street tacos, but I hear the ceviche is awesome, along with the tacos. Small sitting area, unfortunately they close early, dont sell carne asada or rice but Its a must try spot wont disappoint.
