Our experience started out well, and then once the food arrived, it went downhill. I ordered the OMG Nachos. I don’t know what you have come to expect for nachos, but for me, it’s a pile of chips with the toppings. They brought me my plate. 9 chips total. 9! Each individually topped. It looked like an appetizer. And for 13.50 for the meal I was not impressed. I will say the flavor was great, but otherwise, it’s not good. We mentioned it to the waitress, and instead of dealing with the problem, she never came back to the table and had another team member bring us our check – which hadn’t yet asked for. It was not a good experience, and I will NOT be going back there.

Plaza Azteca always delivers! Great food, service and atmosphere. This Midlothian Turnpike (near the mall) location is a nice diversion from the Westchester location, just for change! Same great place with a different vibe. Staff was awesome as usual and food was amazing.

Westchester location has always been spot on, but we went here for a family members Birthday and it was a big let down. They had one waiter taking care of our 14 top and other tables so we understood why our drinks would go empty and chips/salsa. The music was so loud we could barely talk amongst ourselves. Then when half of everyone’s food came out cold that showed us the kitchen was slacking. The beans tasted old and so did the food. Then my wife’s dinner after she ate half of it cold she noticed ants in it. It was sad to see everyone so unhappy with their food but we kept out comments to ourselves because the waiter was so good. Now an hour later my wife’s been throwing up and I’m curious how many of us will start experiencing food poisoning. This place needs a health code inspection soon and better organization.

Great place to sit outside on a nice day. Food was OK, but unremarkable, good selection of margaritas, plate was hot but food was lukewarm and taco/tostada shells tasted burnt. Servers were pleasant but hard to get their attention because the restaurant was understaffed.

I ordered Birria Tacos to go…I pick it up and drive all the way home about 25 min away, just to not have the birria dipping sauce…if you know anything about the tacos you know that it’s not a Birria taco without the birria sauce/broth…I call to not get a refund but at least a discount due to the fact I cnt enjoy the meal without the sauce,I didn’t pay for brisket tacos, I paid for Birria wit the sauce..manager John Ramon(if that’s his name) responds that the only thing that they could do was give me the sauce if I drive 25 min back to there like gas is free …customer service trash…Latinos will treat a black person like we’re trying to get over but will bend over backwards for some other people that really don’t even want them here. As much money I’ve spent & tipped graciously…never again & broad st way better anyways
