Mixed bag here: the food was good for generic Mexican food if not overly flavorful. The “table side guacamole” was made at some table but definitely not ours, though it did taste relatively fresh. Excellent service with a friendly waitress. That said, the restaurant is tired with ripped booths, non-functional TVs at the booths (?) and mints at the host stand with a warning to only take one per customer. One wonders what else they’re skimping on if the mints are a precious commodity. Price was reasonable and about what you would expect to pay for this level of food and experience.

I’ve loved eating at Plaza Azteca for many years now, but have only ever been there for dinner until recently. I got lunch take-out and was pleasantly surprised at their lunch specials. Lots of options, nice portions, at really great prices! I was wowed at how much I loved what I got (pork pastor tacos w/ sunny side up egg). The others in my group also enjoyed what they got. Highly recommend this place!

This place was kind of neat. Our waiter was friendly. I didn’t enjoy the chips and salsa as much, but the Shredded Chicken Nachos was great and a really good portion size! We enjoyed our visit.

This may be my favorite Mexican place. The dishes are generous and delicious. Thr atmosphere is lovely. It is not tex-mex. Take the time to be adventurous. I followed them from their previous location in Sterling.

I LOVE Mexican food. I used to be an Uncle Julio’s regular, but then I found Plaza Azteca. As the COVID crisis lowered the standards of service and quality across many restaurants, Plaza Azteca stayed consistently delicious. From the frozen margarita/sangria combo to the chips, salsa, and tableside guac, everything is consistently flavorful. The fajitas for two are my go-to, and the pork is a game changer. Some nights we do pork, shrimp, chicken, and veggies and others we just do pork, shrimp, and veggies. Some nights we add pineapple, which brings the fajitas to a whole new level. Regardless of what combination we order, they are eye-closing, sigh-savoring good every single time. To add to the overall experience, Vanessa and Ricky are fantastic servers, and the rest of the staff is always attentive. Plaza Azteca definitely has my vote for best Mexican food in Loudoun!

This is such a great location with dietary options for those of us that prefer a plant based way of living. I had a vegan burrito and it was packed with goodness, made with tofu . It was absolutely seasoned really well. The size was enormous,I made 3 meals out of it .

First trip here, pretty disappointing. After being seated and given waters we waited over 15 minutes to order anything. Finally asked another waitress about ordering, who got our waitress. We’d been there over 25 minutes by the time we had just drinks. Margs weren’t amazing, even in the Patron format, too sweet and pretty watered down with ice melt. Chips and salsa are on point, queso also tasty, but meals quite average. Nice atmosphere, but sadly I don’t think we’ll be back.
