Ok. What a gem. Love the decor and ambiance and all the authentic articles you can buy. The seating and tables – all of it was so good. For here on a Wednesday evening for dinner with 9 people and had no problem getting seated and served quickly. I got the Combination platter 2 with pork tamale, beef Chile Colorado enchilada, and chicken enchilada. The Cole Colorado was delicious. No one had complaints about their food – including the kids, and nothing was left behind.

Starting with the positive things. The food is really good. I loved the chips they give you as a starter. It’s real Mexican food but it’s not exaggerated spicy. However the portions, as always, are huge.

Service was amazing food was good but not great. The rice was a little to dry that’s my only complaint. The drinks were prefect a little pricey but good. They do have a bar inside and plenty of parking. I would recommend everyone to try it out maybe the rice just had a bad day when I was there.

We ate here twice. Normal wait time, all the staff was nice and very quick; always refilling drinks and chips. Food was good (8.5/10), and chips and salsa were AMAZING! You can tell the salsa is homemade. Pricing normal, best place to eat in the area. Open until 10 pm.

Food was okay but not amazing. Prices are quite high, at least over $30 per person. Quesadilla was mediocre because it wasnt hot, just a bit warm so The cheese wasnt melting. Other than that taquitas were really good, especially The mix with beef. The other ones with shrimps was also good.

While coming back from our visit to the Rim we decided to go to the restaurant for dinner. When we entered there was a queue for seating as it was weekend. We waited for about 10-15 minutes and then someone came to the reception and took the group who came after us and seated them without even asking anything to us (no, the group did not have reservation). However, we asked another server for a table and got the table for us. We ordered Combo 2 : food was ok, but I can not say it was up to the level or of quality I have had before at other Mexican restaurants. Can’t give more than 3 star for the food. It looked like it was thrown on the plate without any care. I have had better experience at other local Mexican restaurants. As you can see in the image that my plate was even damaged on the rim. It was the only option we had after 9 PM except for fast food chains nearby.

Probably the best Mexican food near Grand Canyon National Park. The tacos, carne asada and beef fajitas were great. Huge portions… so order appropriately. We had lot of leftovers. Restaurant interior could use some cleaning.

Overall, I’d say this place was a decent experience. We arrived for early dinner to ensure a sunset viewing at the Grand Canyon. Place wasn’t busy but got busier by the time we left. Having said that, we were greeted right away and sat. Liked the festive tables. Our waitress was pleasant, right amount of attention, and nice. They brought out chips and salsa after taking out drink order. A hint off spice, onions, and parsley. Thought it’s was great. I ordered the burrito with shredded beef. I thought it was flavorful and delicious. The other persons in my party prefer a TexMex style, loosely translated means they like cheese. They ordered enchiladas rancheras only to discover no cheese included. I think the average person would’ve been fine, but they were disappointed. In short, if you prefer a more authentic dish, you’d probably enjoy the taste just fine. I’ve found overall, that prices are just higher in Grand Canyon village than normal. In example, the same burrito I ordered at a restaurant back home is roughly $15-17. Point being, pricing isn’t too crazy, but expect to pay a little more than normal per dish. Lastly, place is easy to find. Out in front of a motel and is right next door to Wendy’s off the main town strip. To sum up, I would recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Mexican food. Side note, I noticed there are charging outlets with USB plugs at the booths I saw. Kind of nice if you’ve been out hiking all day taking pictures and need a quick power up.

1st time here some in my party had gluten & Dairy restrictions and the staff was accommodating. A bulk of their menu is already gluten free. The mole sauce here is amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.
