We were greeted promptly when we arrived. The waitress was quick to come to the table to take our drink order. When she brought drinks back, neither is what we ordered. When she finally came back to the table we ordered our food. I ordered another round of drinks that did not come at all. Food came quickly, but neither entree was correct. Everything was unappealing and overly salty. Small portions and overpriced. As for the environment, there were flies everywhere and there were staff members walking around with fly swats killing them at will. Staff members were sitting at a back table, 1 man was coughing amd sneezing without covering his mouth and was also killing flies by pressing them between the window blinds and the window. I will not be going back to this restaurant!! There are so many great restaurants in the area with great food and service, this is definitely not one of them!

I walked into a friendly environment where I was greeted by their servant. 18 years and going, this family owned restaurant makes great Tacos for the family. But don’t ignore the other parts of their menu, you’ll regret it.

This restaurant has its own parking, friendly staff, tasty food, and delicious drinks. Ralph is a very sweet and accomodatable server. He offered true insight of his own preferences off the menu and helped me decide what I actually want. I was brought fresh tortilla chips, red salsa, and creamy white sauce. I ordered a jumbo Texas margarita and the Chori Pollo with grilled shrimp added to my chicken. The meal came with rice, beans, and tortillas. Overall this was worth the price and tasted really great. Ralph was attentive and very considerate. The owner was also a nice guy. He came around to take my plate when I was finished.

Absolutely disappointing. The food is dry, unseasoned, and overpriced. The beans looks like cat vomit, and had absolutely no flavor. Dry, unseasoned meat slapped between a tortilla with some cheese. Even the sauces for the tacos/enchiladas had almost no flavor. The drinks were over-poured to an extent we couldn’t even finish them, and they had weird garnishes (whipped cream on a margarita??). The only thing decent was the chips and salsa, but they charge for refills of them.

Based off all the great reviews decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat after being on the road all day. First the waitress dropped our chips and white dip and it went every where on me and didn’t even receive an apology. I get it accidents happen. There was only one other table at the time we arrived and they received their food right after we ordered then it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive… another 15 minutes for my daughters food to arrive and tried to get the waitresses attention a couple of times for drink refills and a refill of the chips. When finally got it she said oh were all out of chips, refilled the drinks and then didn’t even bring the chips which they weren’t out of as they had just refilled the bin. The food tasted good and decent portions but the lack of service from the waitress and the amount of time it took to receive the food being the only ones in the restaurant waiting was not a good sign.

This place used to be really good. Now the food has no seasoning and service sucks. The best thing about them are the margarita.

Priced well, Lots of seating in enclosed outside area. Clean dining area and restrooms. You have options: Men’s, women’s and unisex rest rooms. Mexican themed decor. I don’t think anyone would miss the plastic pots and fake flowers. Service was so-so. Ricardo would walk by and pick up my glass and return with a refill without speaking. I noticed he was more chatty with a trio of older ladies that were regulars. So that’s promising. Chips, salsa and white sauce were delivered as soon as I sat down and I needed a few minutes to decide on lunch since it was my first time there. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Then I found a gray hair in it half way through lunch. So I didn’t care that it didn’t taste good. The white sauce was ok but not as tasty as some other local Mexican restaurants like La Herradura and Plaza Azteca. If you want a second round of chips it’s $1.00. I think that’s fair. Although most restaurants provide unlimited chips and salsa. I always like to order something that has sour cream and guacamole so that’s what I look for on the menu. I ordered a fried beef chimichanga with sour cream, guacamole salad and option of beans or rice. I ordered it with beans. It was delivered with sour cream only and rice. Ricardo walked by and dropped it off and kept going. It took me about 10 minutes to get his attention and tell him that I got the wrong order. Mine was supposed to be with beans and the guacamole was missing. So a few minutes later he delivered a chimichanga that had not been fried, with beans and salad with guacamole but no sour cream. A fried chimichanga stands up to the cheese queso poured over it but a tortilla that has not been fried gets soft and gooey under the cheese sauce. Some people like that but I like it fried so it’s still kinda crunchy. At least he got the beans right. Well, although I said excuse me several times as he and another server walked by, I never got their attention so I just ate the shredded beef out of the soggy tortilla with the beans, salad and guacamole. The salad was put right on top of the refried beans so it was warm and a bit wilted instead of cold and crunchy. It was all very filling and I didn’t finish the plate so, it is a good size serving for a lunch portion. The shredded beef was extremely salty and heavy on the cinnamon or a similar spice. But since the refried beans had no seasoning at all, eating the salty meat and flavorless beans together Somehow balanced out. I hear Karaoke nights are a lot of fun here. So I might come for Karaoke and a drink but I probably won’t order food again.

The food is delicious, served fairly quickly, and comes out hot. Service is good but if you make reservations in advance, check back the day before as the have a tendency to mess reservations up.

They gave us a server who was on his first day with no help whatsoever. He did not know how to put the drinks into his little handheld device. We did not get our drinks for 10 minutes after ordering and I specifically asked for my margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim, they brought a frozen margarita with nothing on the rim. When we asked to switch them out for the right one I had to wait another 5 minutes before I got the “correct drink” with nothing on the rim still. One of the friends we were dining with ordered some soft tacos, and got one hard taco. When she asked for it to be corrected, she was brought one soft taco. Another friend ordered the “stuffed” quesadilla, and it came with everything on the side that was supposed to be in the quesadilla. I ordered the shrimp tacos, which were supposed to come with pico de gallo and cabbage inside. What arrived was 3 tacos that only had small shrimp inside (clearly frozen), with pico on the side and no cabbage to be found. Overall for the price of everything, the service and food left much to be desired. The menus were also gross and had food particles inside and the server quickly wiped food off of our table as he was seating us. Not worth returning.
