If you like Italian sausage, Pat makes a great sandwich. Add peppers, onions, marinara and provolone and it’s a delicious treat. Takes about 15 minutes so they can grill the meat and prep the sandwich. Never fails to delight!

I never review anything because most food joints are just mediocre, but Plaza Gourmet is a different breed. I love all their Phillies especially their mushroom philly which I’ve gotten literally 100 times. I always bring my friends from other cities here and they all agree it’s the best sandwich they’ve ever had.

I have recently moved to the area and was shopping at luckys, which I came upon this place. I walked inside and realized I may have just found my favorite place to buy sandwiches. They have a great selection of sandwiches. Philly, pastrami, cold cuts, etc. I ordered a hot pastrami on sour roll with pepper jack cheese. They have many options for sauce as well. The pastrami sandwich i got was super delicious and filling.

I don’t understand the rave reviews. I like the people otherwise the philly I’ve now tried twice would earn this review a 2. The philly was a meal of oily bread with little meat and barely even any peppers or onions. I even asked for extra peppers and onions. I wish I had a photo. Mostly greasy bread. It’s such a oily meal of bread, so light on meat…I don’t know why all the other reviews have such a different experience. Nice people and I’ll try something else on the menu bc the people are nice. But I am not getting a philly again.

Not a big fan. Nothing spectacular about sandwiches. The cheese steaks were fine. Rather drive a longer way to Amatos and pay more for one that’s more authentic.
