I don’t know what Gainesville did to deserve Pleasant Street Pizza, but I’m so glad they’re here. The pizza is epic – sourdough crust, homemade mozzarella, Berkshire pork sausage. It’s so dang tasty I bought a pizza bag just to squire these discs of perfection back home. As I write this, Pleasant Street Pizza has been closed for a few weeks to remodel their dining room. It’s been the longest month of my life.

Fantastic breakfast spot! Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. They helped us find seats quickly and we’re quick to refill our drinks before we finished them. The food was awesome. We’ll definitely be return customers because we have to try more of the menu items!

What an amazing place to have brunch! Even though it’s a tiny place and it can get really packed, it’s definitely worth the wait. Once you’re seated you’re transported to a special moment where the service is phenomenal and the food is even better! I recommend the goat cheese omelet and the pancakes. We also had an amazing French toast on a previous occasion and it was also very delicious. They have cold into coffees on draft also, they are local and delightful. If you have not been to daybreak pleasant before, I recommend you come visit it. Perfect for a date brunch! 😉

First time visit, I ordered the hash and coffee. The hash was plentiful and flavorful. The waitress was nice and my coffee was kept full, which as a coffee fan I appreciate. The restaurant is small and cozy. Definitely worth a second visit.
