We absolutely love coming here and every time I forget to leave a review (probably because I’m so focused on eating). I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu but I’d like to highlight their deserts. The banana split pie is a must! The service here is great too the vibe is always chill. Taylor is a small town and it’s rare to get a bad experience. As for entree I’d recommend the salmon croquette.

I have eaten here four or five times and have thoroughly enjoyed myself every time. The food is always excellent. The facilities are always clean. The staff is fantastic. Everyone is always kind, friendly, polite, and timely. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I enjoy their all day breakfast and daily specials. I also really enjoyed the item they served my mother for her birthday. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Went on a Sunday. We were given the brunch menu. We asked if we would be able to order the fried green tomatoes, we had seen them online but not on the brunch menu. They were able to do it, and boy were those the best elevated flavors on a fried green tomato! (Pictured after we ate some, because i was so excited that I forgot to take the pic when it came out) I’d be back for those alone. So fresh…. nice crispy batter, on a bed of fresh greens (I think spinach), with feta and a sweet jam. I think she said it was an apple bacon jam. It was to die for. The tomato basil soup was great also. The meatloaf was a bit denser than I like, but flavors were there. And it had freshly prepared chunky tomato sauce on top. The club sandwich was pretty great also. Service was great as well. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and had a wonderful bubbly personality. We will be back!

The quality of the food was ok. The biscuit was thick and dry. Gravy was bland. French toast could have been better. It was soggy! Heard so many good things, so I decided to try it out. Honestly, it’s not that great. I have tried their desserts a while back when they first open. They are amazing!

We were passing by and found this gem. Delicious food, desserts, and drinks. Our food was good only flaw was the quinoa (served cold and wish it was noted as cold not warm on the menu). I had the lavender alcoholic drink – yummy! Fun place will come back. Military friendly with a nice discount.

Taylor is full of great food, unique spots, and lovely people. But, none have them all in spades like Plowman’s.

OMG…you have to check this place out. Great menu, great service and an interesting location. The fried green tomatoes are to die for. They are the only restaurant I’ve been to in 40 years that have deviled eggs!! We got the filet and the pork medallions. Check it out.

This place really impressed me! I loved it. They took an abandoned elementary school and turned it into a fantastic bakery/bar and restaurant.

The sandwich was delicious and the staff was great! I love the decor matching the old band hall theme and the staff was eager to tell me about the history of the building. Very friendly folks and good food too.
