Went with a friend for a quick meal before our 8pm show at Eastman Theatre. We had excellent and very quick service. We arrived a little after 6:30 and must have beaten the crowd. We ordered hot Saki and sushi from the Chef Special Roll. I had the Yummy Yummy Roll and Banzai Roll. They looked like a masterpiece on my plate and were both absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. It was the first time my friend had sushi at the Plum House. He had the Oxford Roll and the Amazing Roll. He was amazed and said it was the best sushi he has ever had. The rolls were a nice size and filled us both up. We were in and out within the hour and arrived at the venue with at least 10 minutes to spare.

This has to be the quickest sushi place I’ve ever been to. 4 rolls and it took at most 10 minutes?!?! AND THEY WERE AMAZING!! The waitress was very sweet and funny too. I was full after one roll. I would definitely go back and add it to my go to sushi places!

Really solid sushi place. They have plenty of other offerings, but we usually come just for sushi. Highly recommend the Godzilla roll and the Red Dragon roll.

I was surprised when I opened my order and saw a lot of mixed rolls which included- avocado, cucumber, imitation crab, cream cheese (many things I associate with Cali style sushi) which resulted in a majority of it not being eaten (would have liked more details when ordering off of delivery/pick sites/apps); based on the short time I was in the restaurant the hosted was welcoming and kind and the feeling of the place at the time was peaceful.

Will absolutely never give this place an ounce of my business on their complete lack of common sense and professionalism. Earlier this evening one of their deliveries drivers backed into our vehicle, I asked him for insurance in which he starred at me like a deer in headlights and their on-duty “manager” walked out, we explained the situation and she repeatedly attempted to bribe us not to contact police because it was his SECOND accident that day and they would provide us surveillance ( in the mean time this kid is now entering another vehicle without giving us any insurance information). I simply looked at her and asked her to “stop talking to us because I was very hot about the situation right now” she then proceeded to attempt to belittle us verbally instead of just leaving the situation alone ( the driver who hit us is now gone at this point) and then repeatedly denied to provide us with insurance information. Police arrive, the driver is not there, he is in another vehicle (none of these vehicles are registered or insured to him) the police asked to for his information to identify him, she was extremely resistant, they asked for surveillance and low and behold there is none, all the mean while the police told her the individual should not have left, she said “911 told me it was ok”. The absolute disbelief this is how staff treats customers when their employees damage property. This woman has set the tone for all I need to know about this business.
