This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had fries and a pepperoni pizza. The fries were decent, I don’t know if they are double fried or lightly battered but they were good. The pizza crust was OK, I would have liked some crisp on the bottom. But the sauce was outstanding. Some of the best tasting pizza sauce I have had. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.1.

I used to really love this place but it has declined. We ordered delivery that took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. The steak and cheese was not toasted as ordered. Since it wasn’t toasted it arrived soggy and was inedible.The garden salad had “fancy lettuce” which I’m sure most appreciate but I was expecting iceberg. The Italian dressing was very thick and did not have the tart taste I enjoy. Overall it was a less than ideal meal. Why does blackhawk pizza have to be closed the week of fourth of July every year. It’s the only good place around.

I ordered a Fig bacon and blue pizza from here for the first time. From the very first bite, this pizza exceeded my expectations. The thin crust was amazing and it perfectly balanced the richness of the toppings. It had a nice crispiness and provided a delightful contrast to the savory bacon, and the bold flavor of the blue cheese. The staff was excellent. I had asked them many questions and they were patient and answered all of them. They were very friendly. What amazed me was the huge menu and the cleanliness. There are so many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend and I will be for sure coming back here to try the rest of the menu.

I wanted to love this place however they messed up our order incredibly. We ordered 2 calzones and should have received Free fried dough poppers. Our first order was supposed to be a Pesto chicken calzone. The calzone was well cooked and a good size for a small calzone. They also gave regular sauce on the size. There was too much pesto and not enough cheese and chicken. The pesto was well tasting. Unfortunately we had ordered extra cheese and a large. However we received a small with barely any cheese. Next we ordered a BBQ chicken calzone with extra cheese. This time the extra cheese was right but we received a pizza instead of a calzone. The pizza was good however and no real complaints. Lastly we ordered Fried Dough Poppers which were supposed to be Free. We ended up getting charged and the poppers were very dense with some sugar on top and came with a way too sweet sugar sauce. All together it wasn’t awful but not the best.

The staff is friendly, the food is delicious! We have tried a variety of things pizzas, calzones, grilled cheese, salads, subs, various appetizers and everything is amazing. Salads are always nice and fresh. Everything is a good choice, you won’t be disappointed!

Tried it once, probably wouldn’t order again honestly. Delivery was on time and food was still fairly warm when we got it (We live maybe 2-3 miles away). The appetizers were good and probably our favorite part but the chicken tenders seemed cheap. Pizza was kind of bland. The calzone I ordered didn’t seem like the right one. I got the Mediterranean which I was pretty sure was supposed to have spinach… I think they tried subbing broccoli? Not to mention the calzone was barely filled and I paid extra for a dip I didn’t get in the order… We ordered from this place when it had the name “Aroma” and had a bad experience. Wanted to try it this new place, but seems like maybe they just changed the name because of poor customer service… seems just as subpar as the original place.

Worst customer service! They also changed the total of our order at the time of delivery by an extra $8 one time and an extra $7 the next. We tried to call to ask why this was happening now twice and got zero explanation. They kept either putting us on hold and or told us they didn’t have time to speak with us. We order from them often and no longer will be doing so. Also the subs they delivered were not even edible. They were soggy & awful. They do have a lot of good food on the menu but clearly do not know how to treat paying customers.

2/1/2022 1st time was staying in area gave it a shot. Must say 1 of the best I ever had crust to topping ratio perfect. Will most definitely recommend and re visit. Ps.. Aroma special “well done” perfection. 2/2/2022 decided to try steak n cheese mushroom sub toasted was again perfection this place worth a try and ride..
