My recent dining experience at Plumed Horse, a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant, was nothing short of spectacular. Opting for the tasting menu with wine pairing was an excellent decision that led to a culinary journey like no other. Each dish that graced our table was a masterpiece in its own right, a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that delighted the senses.

I Wanted to take my wife out for a good dinner, this was our first experience of fine dining like this. The ambiance of the Plumed Horse was great! (Sorry I forgot everyone’s name who helped us but you know who you are haha). Never been to a establishment that changes cutlery every dish, pours your wine and gives description of the food you will eat and beverages you will drink while maintaining great smiles and great service. I’ve been working in retail and customer service with pervious and current career, and I can for sure say the men and women here did not disappoint at all. We never felt like we were just spending our money, it was more of a family/comfortable experience that I would love to do again. I could go into details about everything we experienced, but I took a bunch of pictures and that should do the trick of explaining. I will say this,my wife is not big on eating seafood or trying things that are not the “traditional foods” (beef, pork chicken) but she tried everything that was on the menu and she loved it! I was surprised hahaha so for me, that’s saying a lot about the quality of food and the dishes we were served. I Would definitely like to thank Andrew and Chiara for the invite! I would of never came here or known about the Plumed Horse without them. Jeffery the wine Expert/Guru for his great amount of knowledge he had of the wines, and not looking at me like I was stupid for some questions and clarifications questions I had , Erica and Daniele for the GREAT service they provided. I can’t stress how satisfied we were, but you will not be disappointed for dining here! Also they surprised me with a birthday celebration .

Amazing service from our Maitre D Manuel and our server Daniel. Girls night dinner for the birthday and it was exceptional. Manuel was so thoughtful taking multiple pictures for us and complimenting us as we laughed the night away. Service is leisurely but perfect. Plenty of time to catch up with loved ones. We had the pre fixed menu sat $245 pp and it was delish. Our server Daniel (from Milan!) was so personable and kind supportive us with the help of the chef in the kitchen to accommodate any dietary restrictions or food preferences. We had venison which some of my group was scared of and they had a seafood and wagyu option instead. So thoughtful and accommodating. The wine pours were generous and the complimentary birthday champagne was delish. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of the bottle. All in all, 10/10 for food, ambiance, and service. An amazing getaway without having to go anywhere. Winning!

For the price you pay, there are better restaurant experiences elsewhere. The food was definitely unique. Taste-wise – it’s good, however we were not wow’d. We tried it all – full tasting menu, with wine pairing. Including the caviar at the beginning and truffles for the steak – just beware, all these come at extra price. Our final bill was approx. $1,500 for the two of us.

I’ve lived in the Bay Area my whole life and never been to this restaurant before. It’s apparently been around for 70 years but the interior is very nice and up to date. My wife and I had the tasting menu and wine paring, and 4 hours later .. I have to say it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and the same for the service. A big step up from other amazing places like Evvia and Boulevard. It’s very pricey, but an incredible place for a special occasion. No way this is a Google 4.4 restaurant, it’s 4.7 in my opinion … and I find the Google restaurant ratings very accurate to my own rating.
