We took our Aunty to the Saturday breakfast buffet. It was okay. I suggest you eat earlier as they ran out of food and weren’t able to keep up with the flow of people. I gave it a low rating for the food and for the cook that was behind the omelet station. He was not a very nice person. He was nice to other people, but not to me and a few others. It was very disappointing. They ran out of the sirloin with mushrooms and onions. They ran out of the red wine gravy for the carving station, really. It was $55 for the buffet, not worth it. But our waiter, Bradford, was terrific! He tried everything to accommodate us, especially for my 83 year old aunty. Bradford is truly a five-star employee.

The delicious offerings of the Seafood Dinner Buffet (available Fridays and Saturdays) combined with the views of the Pacific Ocean made this dining experience memorable. Our reservation was in the early evening which provided us with a more quiet start to our evening and a mostly unobstructed view of the beach. The buffet had a wide selection of salads, poke, sushi, hot dishes, and desserts. The Misoyaki Butterfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Coconut Tapioca had the perfect amount of coconut flavor.

Super disappointing food selection. No fresh fish of the day. Plates were mediocre at best. I actually found it difficult to find something I wanted to eat. But, the view was stunning.

This restaurant has a stunning location, which is a treat in itself. We came here ten years ago and the vibe has changed a bit: the white umbrellas are a little stained and the beautiful white pavilion which used to sit as a feature on the lawn has been set aside around a corner. Atmosphere aside, the staff remain exceptional, and make for a very pleasant experience. I ordered an Upcountry Breakfast with coffee and orange juice. The bacon was very well cooked and crunchy and the fruit was tasty and well presented. My dining partner had french toast, which came with whipped maple and coconut syrups. For the price point, the food was not as special as one would hope for (other places usually serve their french toast with interesting embellishments or fruit, there were no extras at all on the plate here, for example).

I was invited here as part of a wedding Party. The dining experience was great, especially if you are under the half covered seating. The food was great and the drinks paired well with my meal.

We ate here every day for breakfast during our stay at the Kahala and once for the seafood buffet dinner. These meals were our favorites during our visit to Oahu! The servers Randy and Dustin were wonderful. The food was delicious too. The butterfish and bread pudding were standouts. Our mornings weren’t complete without the guava juice and pineapple mint juice! We had our breakfast included as part of our hotel stay and I strongly recommend it. It was so nice to spend our mornings at Plumeria without thinking about it.

Dont get me wrong, you’ve got to experience this, but it said outside reservation, but we were well inside with sn open view ofbthe shoreline wasaay over there, past multiple tables. I so wanted a seaside table for our 46th anniversary. Plus the stars of the menu, prime rib and dungeness crab, were a little dry. That said, the flavors, the sides, the shashimi and the butterfish were stellar, and our waiter, Eric, was very attentive and kind.
