Best crab cake Benedict I’ve had since Luna Bella stopped doing Sunday brunch! Seriously, probably one of the best breakfast spots in town. It was perfect, to the poached egg to the cake itself. The banana fosters French toast was awesome if you have a sweet tooth- and you get two eggs, meat, fruit and taters with it which I appreciate for the price. The food is really top notch here and so is the service. The only reason I can’t give five stars is the atmosphere is lacking for the fine dining prices of the food. Regardless of hokey ambiance, I see big things for this restaurant and I look forward to going back. Highly recommend yal!

Had heard good things about this place and I get excited anytime I see ‘chicken and waffles’ on a menu. Not quite the experience we would brag about. Now I will say we were a larger party (4 adults and 3 kids). When we arrived, tables were full, but staff seemed less than engaged, almost as if they did not want to be there. We did get seated, and our waitress brought coloring books for the kids. There were 4 tables that were seated after us, but received their food before us…actually 2 of the tables had finished their meals before we even got ours. The waitress did bring out a small fruit bowl for the kids to share while waiting.

Okay.. went to try out Poached for the first time. At first, I was a little skeptical as I stepped inside this small but quaint restaurant. The place seems small with tables that seem to be ontop of each other which takes away from the ambiance and the feeling of an intimate breakfast. The service was okay but they seemed to be more interested in talking to each other rather than taking aim at customer service. I ordered the Lox (salmon) eggs benedict with home fries and the wife ordered the vegetarian eggs benedict with grits. I admit I was nervous at the pricing of the food. However, when the food was brought to the table, I was amazed at the artful presentation and the size portions. I have to honestly admit, the first bite was an incredible explosion of flavors. This is the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. Hats off to the Chef. I tried the wife’s grits and those too were the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely give them a other try.

First time we went we went in March we were blown away. Scotch egg was wonderful and veggie Benedict was awesome. Rave reviews. Went back in May and quiche was cold, ordered potatoes got grits, husband’s toast did not come with meal and had to ask for it. Today, he ordered scotch egg..no longer making but on menu, his scrambled eggs were cold, toast did not come and had to ask. Sourdough came instead of ordered wheat. I asked for veggie omelette with hot pepper cheese and got cheddar instead. Omelette was a hot mess as pictured. Service was extremely slow and place was maybe 1/3 full. I hate to say but we’re giving it a pass for awhile.

My family and I (32F, 32M, 11M) visited here last weekend. Seating is a little tight, but we got in before the rush so we had no problem getting seated right away! My husband ordered the Lobster Roll with the Shrimp Chowder and home fries – and ate every bite! He raved about the freshness of all the ingredients used. My son ordered the kid’s size pancake breakfast with eggs, home fries, and bacon – either they accidentally brought us the adult size, or it is one heck of a portion size! He decided it was the second-best pancake he’d ever eaten, and that’s saying a lot since he is a (self-proclaimed) pancake connoisseur I ordered the Plain Sailing – 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon, home fries, and toast Everything was fantastic! Now, the ONLY downside is that, when we went, they weren’t ready to sell Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s, so we will definitely have to go back after they have all the approvals in place to give those a try!

I’m not going to lie, this spot is a breakfast hit. Service, was friendly. Food was on point. The only knock or negative is they open up late. I would love to see a 6am or 7am open time. Other than that, food was delicious. If you in Hot Springs, this is a MUST stop for breakfast. Definitely get the sausage balls.

So this restaurant was very close to our lakefront AirB&B so we found it by happenstance. We were delighted with our choice. The menu was on point with all of the traditional breakfast choices as well as a few surprises. My wife enjoyed her traditional breakfast with pancakes and sausage balls. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pork chop breakfast with applesauce. It was 3 perfect hand carved pork loin chops cooked to perfection. The applesauce was also made in house and delicious. The grits were my biggest surprise. Normally I get them as utility these however, were buttered perfectly and when I added some of the super flavorful syrup it tasted like bread pudding. And as an aside the syrup was amazing and I hope my palette is refined enough to taste a quality syrup and not a store bought sugar option. Even the toast was good again I have to assume without any promise but, it tasted better than traditional sandwich bread. Overall it was great and we returned the following day and it was delicious. Great find in my opinion.

Great food, I ordered the waffle with bacon, eggs, and grits. It was delicious. My friend got the smothered steak with grits. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was nice. I would recommend it to all hungry for breakfast or brunch in Hot Springs!

Very busy in the mornings, so I knew this place would be amazing! Loved the food so much, and the staff was so nice. I sat at the counter and service was slow, but I knew they were slammed. Cute place in a cute town.
