Overall a good experience. I do recommend looking over the menu before going because they are a fast pasted environment. We had the top shelf margaritas and we enjoyed them; they didn’t have too much acidity. The food came out quickly and and was good. I would say its similar to any classic American/Mexican grill found all over but they have great daily specials that give you a lot of food for little bank. I will def become a regular, both for the food and the knowledge I can get in and out in under an hour.

OBCS Day Program
The service was ok, a bit slow at the bar for lunch hour when People are on lunch breaks and there was no rush crowd. Ultimately, my reasoning for this review is I use to come her about 2 years back loved it. Today I ordered chalupas for lunch. I received hard taco shell broke in half. This was laughable. Not at all a chalupa and Mexican restaurant knows this. . No thank you.

Started from the drinks to the 3 plates of food we ordered during lunchtime. No crowd so that should have been a red flag. Food was bad all around. How do a Tex mex spot ruin guacamole? Even the child’s chicken tender was dry. They need new mgmt and cooks. The waitress was great and she kept apologizing for the bad food.

I ordered a vegetarian burrito and got a tortilla with chicken, no other additive. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla and got a tortilla with chicken, no other toppings. I love the friendly center location idk what happened here. 0/10 would not recommend, there was not a single thing I enjoyed about this meal. Not worth $13

No clue if it was just an off night but service was just…weird I guess is the word? We didn’t get to our table 39 seconds before we were asked if we were ready to order, ” a few more minutes please” then my wife ordered a Pepsi (processed to bring a diet Pepsi without saying they were out, then “fixing” the Pepsi once she just asked for a dr.pepper, so all you had to do was connect a new CO2) I asked for a dos Equis larger tall ( one of the two Mexican beers on tap) out, no biggie I’ll take the amber. Ordered my 3 year old a milk…”like cold milk?”….weird question. yea like the thing you have to make a lot of stuff here with. No milk, so I have to go to Harris teeter next door to get a milk. Wife’s b.y.o.b was decent I had the chimichanga and the beef wasn’t seasoned at all, no flavor. The best food was my 3 year olds chicken tenders. When. The food was brought out our server (Ledy?) Just said “here” no two minute check back nothing. The manager brought us our boxes and brought us our check. All in all just an odd experience. I know the products being out were not here fault but the whole service was just weird. I felt bad leaving the review and the honestly low tip that I did but I waited tables for over a decade and believe i know tables with little kids are extremely annoying but again did this for a very long time, we pre bus our table to the extreme and are usually very understanding since my wife and i both did this for awhile. We haven’t had anything but good things to say about the friendly location so not sure if we just got an off night or what man but it was definitely not worth the money I spent.

Came out for a quiet meal and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I had the delicious Mango-Habanero Shrimp Tacos and a Blood Orange Margarita, and both hit the spot. Fresh and tasty! The service was great! Enjoy!
