Food was good. Like very tasty! I like the carne asada. Nachos were good too. I tried all the meat and they all are good. Will definitely come back.

I’m a little confused by the high ratings. Out of our group of 7 people, the only appetizing dish ordered for brunch was the chilaquiles con huevos with brisket. I wanted to love my la burrita but the crepe texture was off-putting plus it arrived cold My friend said his al pastor in his tacos was dry. My other friend said her vegetarian tacos were below average. And I could go on…

Pocha LA is a good concept and seems to have tons of potential… It’s just not there yet.

Good happy hour. Mon-Fri 3-6. Drink and food specials. Inside is bright, modern, with a homestyle decor. There’s also a small patio in the back. The food was good. Got to try a lot from the happy hour menu and I liked all of it. Service was good. There’s a small parking lot in back or street parking within a block or two.

Sad. Pocha has seen better days, and honestly, it feels like the restaurant is on its way out. They used to have a full fledged coffee bar, kombucha-based mocktails, and better service and live music. The waiting service here also used to be much more friendly and attentive. I live nearby but will probably not make it back.

Drinks and atmosphere was excellent. The nachos tasted more like chilaquiles because the chicken tinga sauce made the chips soggy. The portion for the ceviche was a bit small But the plantain tostada made up for that and gave this a very unique flavor also was filling. Overall I would go back and maybe not get the nachos.

I ordered the mole poblano, tostones and horchata. Everything tasted great. I loved the taste of the black beans, is hard to find good beans in restaurants. My server was really nice. The restaurant is pretty big and they have parking in the back. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other dishes.
