Brisket and ham were really good !!! Mac n cheese also good. Best thing though was the friendly staff. Also a clean restaurant. I spoke with 3 employees. All 3 were very kind. Definitely recommend. I visited at 1pm on a Tuesday. Great visit will be back when I’m in the area

The potato salad was very close to the original recipe at this location and I miss that at the Baton Rouge location. Look how nice and tight the potato salad is. No heavy egg or mayo flavor.

My family and I went to Podnuh’s in Bossier on Thursday, June 15th. Our food was horrible and that is being nice. I ordered the 2 meat plate with ribs and dark meat chicken. The meats were extremely dry. I couldn’t chew the chicken. It was definitely not fresh. The beans were mushy and gross. The food was not fresh. It’s not right to go somewhere to eat and you pay money for it just to receive yesterday’s leftovers. They didn’t even hide the plastic bags containing the meats.

Have moved from Bossier, but still drive back for this Podnuhs. It is the best one. We have one just down the street but it is not as good as this one. Fabulous food, good people and the price for what you get is very fair. A three meat plate usually ends up being lunch and dinner to take to work. They really pack those plates. Love it!
