The staff working were so nice and the food was delicious!! Omg we will be going back for sure! The empanadas were so good, hit the spot! (So good I didn’t get a chance to take a pic) The rice bowl was the bomb! We loved the atmosphere and enjoyed talking with Marc!

Everything from the customer service to the food to the quality was all on par. It was delicious, big servings, was able to make 2 meals out of the rice bowl and even got my spice fix in with the fire hot sauce! I highly reccomend to check them out, you won’t regret it!

We found Poe’s because it was behind our hotel, and we are so happy we did! We had two empanadas and two rice bowls. The rice bowels are amazing. I had the pork bowl and my wife had the chicken bowl. They were both amazing. Poe even came out and talked to us for a bit. He is a super nice guy, and we are glad we got to hear his story! We will definitely be going back next time we are in Austin.

Had the pleasure of eating my first empanada at Poe’s today (spicy beef and the sauce was so good)! I also had the shrimp and veggie rice bowl which was beautifully colorful and well seasoned. Wonderful customer service and he is such a nice guy! He came and talked to the group I with where I learned his menu is a blend of different cultures with personal touches. I’ll definitely try to go back before my visit in Austin is over.
