Staff friendliness needs work. There was one bartender who did a fantastic job assisting everyone. Food was okay but nothing exceptional. This was terminal 4. I got the chicken nachos.

Located inside Terminal 6 this a busy place and that itself indicates how well they treat you. The burger was really good in size and filled well with juicy and delicious variety of ingredients. Definitely worth the price and filling enough to last you through a long tiring flight ahead. Tried their lemonade as well and ended up having two glasses as it was super refreshing too!

Worst restaurant eggs I’ve ever had! I got the “scramble” but it was a scoop of pre-made eggs from a big batch (made ahead) (scoop shaped), a scoop of (again, made-ahead) deep fried potatoes, and a scoop of the veggies. Pretty sure I could have gotten the same free breakfast from a two-star hotel. The waitress made me seem like it was ridiculous to expect a restaurant to make the eggs to order. While the service was not good, I did bump up my review a little since I ended up sending it back and only paying for my coffee.

For an airport, a damn good choice. It’s a bit pricey, but everything is at LAX. Here at least, the food is really tasty and the service was super friendly. Some booths too, so it can be quite comfortable to take your time and relax before the flight. The fish tacos were definitely better than I would have expected, with a quality tomatillo salsa on the side.

Golden Road is located in Terminal 6 of Los Angeles Airport. We’d had a long flight and it was time for something to drink to wind down. Although Golden Road was pretty full, there was a good turnover on the tables and we were quickly seated. It was warm so I ordered a Corona which was perfectly cold and the usual lime in the top. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary. The food looked amazing and a family next to us ordered nachos which they let me snap a photo of. They said I could try some, which I did – delicious.

Golden Road Brewing is a lovely place to take a stop and have a meal white you wait for your next flight.

I had the chicken and pesto flat bread and the Hazy IPA. Flatbread was filling and the chicken pieces were large and tender. Noisy place. At sunset, the sun streams straight through the windows and despite efforts to deflect the light, it is blinding for those facing the window. Nice bar, lots of great West Coast style ipas on tap from Golden Road.

I wouldn’t consider myself a price-conscious consumer, but leaving some prices off the menu because they are gougingly high is poor ethics.

Meeting my brother and his wife since they have a long layover on their way to New York. Very impressed with the service, very attentive and friendly.
