Decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, not a good experience. We had a reservation soon after they opened, 4:15, our server was VERY pushy, as if she had been working for hours or something and needed us to eat and get out.

Meh. We probably won’t go back. It was ok but not really worth the price. My sweet tea was nasty. And the risotto I ordered was not good at all. Even the baked potato tasted…odd. The muscles were pretty good and my brie chicken was alright but nothing out of this world. All in all it was just an ok time.

A neighborhood place that emulates fine dining. Food was okay. The Seafood Crock saved the night for us. Dining room is loud making it hard to have a conversation during your meal.

Fantastic service from our server, friendly surroundings, and tasty French onion soup could not overcome the shortcomings of the restaurant. The drinks were short, the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was served room temp. I had the prime rib ordered medium…. it was cold and a bit under cooked, but ok. My wife was surprised at the blandness and small portion size of the chicken and didnt eat it. Brocolli was overcooked and mushy. All and not a $100.00 meal. Too bad we had hoped for better.

Came in on a busy Saturday night and the staff was accommodating despite my lack of reservation. Food and drinks were good, lemon brie cod and calamari were great, Brussel sprouts were very flavorful. My server was just right balance of attention without being intrusive.

I ordered the salmon and it was very dry and flavorless which was disappointing. My dad ordered the blackened tuna which was very good though and my brother had the cod almondine which was also delicious. I would just recommend avoiding the salmon. Of course the pointe is known for it’s prime rib specials on the weekends which is always amazing. If you are going to the pointe you should get prime rib.
