The food was good and the staff were nice. I only didn’t give it 5 stars, because of the price. In today’s local market it may be appropriate, but it was steep for me. Now to the food, we had the sausage, brisket, turkey, mash potatoes, corn casserole, pinto beans, potato salad, macaroni and cheese. The meats had good flavor and it was all moist, including the turkey.

Overall great food. But, I can’t give them five stars because they stopped serving two of my favorite menu items that I used to go there specifically for, on a weekly basis: pork loin and green bean casserole. They don’t have comparable replacements, either (pulled pork isn’t a replacement, sorry). I now only visit about two or three times a year, or less.

I picked up a 3 meat combo plate for dinner one night. It was prepared quickly, and I say this because ordering food was a last minute decision. I was no more than 10 mins from the location when I placed the order. I did not have to wait at all to pick it up. The food was delicious and well proportioned. The side of bean were put in a container so they wouldn’t spill all over everything. The plate was very filling.

Some decent bbq that’s worth a try!! Totally recommend the sausage, their specialty- that texture is perfect and oh so savory. The brisket isn’t very good in my opinion, much too fatty without the flavor. Sides are nothing special but totally fine, love the texas toast though!
