Friend In Mississippi
Certain times are really good, but other times the food is bad. I can only attribute this to conserving food even when it should be thrown out, or sacrificing quality for a dollar bill maybe? The concept is great, every time I have been the service is excellent with workers who seem to love their job and care about the customer’s satisfaction. That is why even though I’ve received subpar food, I have given several additional chances to retain my loyalty. I am still on the fence as far as giving this place my recommendation. The food is good-most of the time. I have gotten SICK from their food once. One other time it was questionable.

I ordered my bowl online & paid for it then. I picked it up 20 minutes after I ordered it. My kids had fallen asleep in the car & I didn’t want to wake them to go inside & I definitely didn’t want to leave them in the car, so I called & asked if someone could meet me at the door since I was parked right in front of it so I could stay close to my car & not wake the babies… the guy was super nice & said he’d just bring it to my car so I didn’t have to even get out – much appreciated!

This is a revision. There was a mistake with my first visit but the manager reached out immediately to rectify it. His communication was great!! I finally got my ramen bowl (Tonkastu Black Ramen) and it was soooo good. The broth, the noodles, the toppings was everything! And the bubble tea was hitting like always. I recommend 10 out of 10. Will definitely go again.

The atmosphere was great. The hubby and I wanted to try something new. The cashier was a gracious host, he was very friendly and helped us to figure out what we wanted. I am going to say it wasn’t for us. It is definitely an acquired taste that my palette is not accustomed to and was stubborn about. I had the chicken. Amazing plating but flavorless and just a no for me. My husband had the beef that he doctored up a bit with the sauce. He wasn’t crazy about his noodles but liked my Ramen more with his beef. The tea, we didn’t care for. Whatever I had was very sweet, I think it was the Strawberry Slush with Boba. We tried, but it just wasn’t there for us. Nice place though.

This is a long one…im sorry Service was great but I do have some criticisms I will cover later. Ramen was amazing but the chicken ramen should specify that it’s fried chicken. My wife was under the assumption it would be sliced like my pork ramen was. The soy garlic wings were great. I normally like my wings fried hard but that didn’t affect the flavor. The buns were great as well. Tried all three and the pork and fried chicken were my favorites. The slushies had an amazing flavor. They can be a bit sweet so you may want to try half sugar or the zero sugar option if you are watching your sugar levels. On the service, I highly recommend putting one employee in the line to assist with orders. On my visit there were enough people working to have one person help with orders periodically. I witnessed at least 4 people walk out due to confusion of people in front of them not knowing what to order. I believe that this would be a major quality of life change that could help the business. I had at least 2 people approach me as the customer asking what to order and we had to explain to them it was our first visit too. We could only recommend what we were eating. Still a great experience and we will be back again to try more food!
